Yes this helps I was stuck at a domestic airport and with many flights cancelled, rescheduling was difficult with people shouting at the staff. And just a simple query and some empathy and I got 2 seats for self and spouse in 1 hour even as others were shouting and cursing Humility, empathy and a little understanding always helps

I used to be a weekly (or more) air traveler. I learned 2 valuable lessons. 1) Travel Karma is a real thing, be kind and you will get kindness back. 2) Gate agents, flight attendants, etc. are human. Treat them as such and they will go the extra mile for you in return.

@MAC_ARMY1 Ugh, there's always at least one like this on every flight. Although this is a gate agent, we treat them and the flight crew with dignity and respect *if* they are kind. Some sadly aren't. Bad passengers ruin things for everyone.
