You’ve been making a ton of progress on this, keep it up man!

in my laser era

I had a dream I bought a laser on Facebook marketplace for cheap 😆 The definition you got on your boards was wild!

Follow your dreams Will!!!!

It was $40 in my dreams, that might be a long shot 😆

in this dream, did the laser have a chain attached it 😜

😂

Fwiw $100 laser kickstarter

Did you run into any issues using the commarker as a PCB engraver ?

nope works great

Thanks ! Also do you start with FR4, what kind of resolution do you get, and how do you handle alignment and fume extraction? Also wondering whether vias are part of the process at all

FR4 is fine. Fume extraction with activated carbon is required. Resolution generally matches professional levels- 150um traces are consistently good, 100um traces take longer and benefit from hq substrate, vias are currently riveted

do you do solder mask ablation with the commarker too ? if not what's your solder mask application process currently ?

I like your laser Steve

real ones break out the FeCl3 and the transfer paper

Building your own factory tooling from scratch is wild. Most people would just buy the machine.

not about that toxic waste management life

This is a Commarker UV laser right? Do you have API control of the laser?

Yea we have something resembling api control- we have very tight lightburn instrumentation

Awesome!

wow

Awesome!
