Not every tokenomics update deserves to be treated as just another announcement. Sometimes, the allocation tells you where an ecosystem is trying to go. With the latest update, there’s a clear shift in how the token is positioned within the broader iGaming ecosystem. The 13% token sale allocation is now completely free from vesting, giving participants immediate flexibility rather than waiting for scheduled unlocks. But there’s more to the structure. 25% is dedicated to Games Rewards Pools, 20% to Liquidity, and 18% to Wager Rewards. That puts a significant portion of the supply around areas directly connected to platform activity and community participation. The remaining allocation covers the Treasury, TMA/Clicker Airdrop, Marketing, and Token Sale, creating a broader distribution across different parts of the ecosystem. I also like that the team is following the announcement with detailed ecosystem guides throughout the week. Those guides should make it easier for the community to understand the reasoning behind the changes, rather than simply seeing percentages without context. There’s a lot more to unpack as the details arrive, and I’ll be keeping up with the updates. Do well to explore the tokenomics:👇

$BNB turns 9 today! On July 14, 2017, $BNB launched as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. It started out as a utility token for a young exchange, and nine years later it sits at the center of one of the most active onchain ecosystems in crypto. Here’s a quick breakdown of that journey: 2017 - Launched on Ethereum at $0.15 with a 200M total supply 2019 - Migrated to its own chain and became a native asset for the first time 2020 - Binance Smart Chain went live, bringing EVM smart contracts and making $BNB the gas of a fast-growing dApp ecosystem 2021 - The DeFi and GameFi boom put the chain at the center of onchain activity, and $BNB reached $690 2022 - Binance Smart Chain became BNB Chain, and BNB took on a new meaning: Build N Build 2023 - The stack expanded with opBNB for scale and BNB Greenfield for storage 2024 - Beacon Chain fusion brought staking, governance, and everything else onto one chain 2025 - Pascal, Lorentz, and Maxwell cut block times from 3s to 0.75s, DEX volume set records, and $BNB hit a new all-time high of $1,370 2026 (so far) · Blocks now land in 450ms with 650ms finality, roughly double the throughput the chain had in January Along the way, over 65M of the original 200M $BNB supply has been burned, on the road to a final supply of 100M. The H2 2026 roadmap keeps the focus where it has been all year: doubling mainnet throughput again, and building a next-generation L1 designed for 100K+ TPS with transactions confirmed in under 50ms. Nine years in, and $BNB has never been faster to use, cheaper to move, or scarcer to hold. Happy birthday, $BNB.

The Spotlight Turns to CZ: Could CZ’s Wallet Spark $BNB Chain’s Next Viral Moment? The Solana ecosystem witnessed one of its biggest viral moments this week after influencer Ansem began interacting with the $ANSEM token. Following his engagement, the token rapidly surged to a market capitalization of nearly $90 million, turning a $1,000 purchase made just 24 hours earlier into approximately $1 million at its peak. The event once again highlighted how quickly community attention can reshape an entire ecosystem. Now, a different story is beginning to attract attention on BNB Chain. Seven months ago, the Hachiko community sent 25 million HACHIKO tokens to CZ’s public wallet. Rather than treating it as a short-term marketing campaign, the community continued building around the project for the next seven months, embracing Hachiko, the global symbol of loyalty, as its core identity while promoting the narrative of “The Last Inu Standing,” one of the few long-running Inu-themed projects still actively building. As Solana celebrates the “Ansem effect,” some members of the BNB Chain community are now asking a different question: Has CZ noticed the 25 million HACHIKO sitting in his wallet? If he does, another question naturally follows: Could those tokens eventually be burned, creating one of the most symbolic moments for BNB Chain’s meme ecosystem? Whether or not that happens remains unknown. But with Solana capturing headlines through community-driven momentum, many are now watching to see whether BNB Chain could produce a defining moment of its own. For now, it’s a story worth watching.

Introducing Zest Protocol Stacks Vaults, Automated yield strategies for Bitcoin-native finance. Launching alongside the stacks.btc Bitcoin Staking upgrade. Stacks Vaults mark the evolution of Zest Protocol from a lending market into yield infrastructure. Until now, earning optimised yield on Stacks meant actively managing positions across markets, moving collateral, monitoring rates, and rebalancing by hand. Stacks Vaults changes that: deposit a single asset, select a strategy, and the vault handles the mechanics in the background. This is the yield toolkit for Stacks. Every yield source in the ecosystem becomes a strategy that can be automated and offered as a single-deposit product. The first vault is a levered Bitcoin Staking vault, built around the liquid staking Bitcoin token Stacking DAO launches with the Stacks Bitcoin Staking upgrade. How the levered Bitcoin Staking vault works: 🟠 One deposit, one position. Deposit BTC, sBTC, or stBTC directly into the vault. You hold a single position while the strategy runs itself. 🟠 Automated leverage. The vault uses your stBTC as collateral to borrow sBTC, stakes the borrowed sBTC into stBTC, and repeats the process. Target yield: 6 to 8%, purely derived from Bitcoin Staking on Stacks. 🟠 Non-custodial. The vault contract can only execute strategy actions on Zest Protocol's lending markets. It cannot move funds anywhere else, and only the user can withdraw their position. No one, including Zest Protocol, can access vault assets. 🟠 Built on live lending markets. The vault runs on Zest Protocol's existing markets: two years in production, over a thousand liquidations processed without bad debt. 🟠 Continuous monitoring. Zest Protocol manages the strategy and monitors the position automatically. No manual rebalancing, no juggling markets. 🟠 First of many strategies. The stBTC looping vault is the first, not the last. STX-based strategies, stablecoin and credit-based strategies, and structured yield products can all be built on the same foundation. External curators will be able to manage their own strategies on Stacks Vaults. Lending markets were the foundation. Vaults are what gets built on top. Stacks Vaults launch alongside stBTC, right before Stacks Bitcoin Staking goes live. Note: Stacks Vaults are separate from Bitcoin Collateral Vaults, Zest Protocol's upcoming flagship product that allows users to borrow against native BTC on any chain (e.g. Ethereum). More updates on Bitcoin Collateral Vaults follow shortly. Follow Zest Protocol on X or subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when levered Bitcoin Staking goes live.

Crypto narratives tend to move in cycles. 2020 was DeFi. 2021 became NFTs. 2023 turned into the AI boom. 2024–2025 were dominated by memecoins and attention tokens. But markets eventually rotate back to something simple: real revenue. That’s why some people are starting to look at iGaming tokens as a potential emerging narrative in 2026. Unlike many hype driven tokens, the iGaming sector already runs large cash flow businesses. Many platforms generate hundreds of millions of dollars in monthly revenue, yet their tokens often trade with far less volume than projects that barely produce revenue at all. In other words, there’s a visible mismatch between actual business activity and token market valuation. One ecosystem that sits right inside this discussion is 1win Token, which already operates as one of the top 10 online casinos globally by scale and user activity. The upcoming $1win Token is designed to connect that existing business with on chain incentives. Its token model includes buybacks and burns funded directly from casino revenue, tying token supply mechanics to real cash flow. There’s also an interesting structural difference compared to previous gaming tokens. For example, $RLB (Rollbit) saw a massive post launch rally, but the product and revenue scale at launch were significantly smaller than what 1win operates today. Another notable point is the launch design: instead of only farming an airdrop, 1win Token plans a public sale model, allowing broader participation from the start. If Web3 narratives are indeed shifting away from pure attention cycles and back toward revenue generating platforms, sectors like iGaming may start attracting more analytical focus and 1win could emerge as the biggest winner.

Growing Sl8 Means Growing Its Community Our work on expanding Sl8 never stops. One of the key priorities for Cassator is continuously bringing new users and new creators into the ecosystem - not through isolated campaigns, but by building long-term relationships with influencers, communities, and partners across different markets. Today, Sl8 is already supported by a growing number of influencers from different countries and across multiple social platforms. This gives us a strong foundation to keep expanding our reach, strengthening awareness around the platform, and introducing Sl8 to new audiences. One of the markets currently in active development is the GCC region, where we are now significantly scaling our presence. We are preparing a large-scale creator campaign focused on bringing new audiences into Sl8, and 48 influencers have already agreed to work with us as part of this expansion. At the same time, negotiations continue with a much broader pool of creators across the region. Our approach is to enter each new market through relevant local creators and communities, building awareness around Sl8 and converting that attention into a growing, engaged user base. The expansion process continues to gain momentum, with new creators, partnerships, and markets joining the Sl8 ecosystem step by step.
