@WFP_Nepal The mind-body connection works just as those mountain areas with disconnected trade routes do. @WFPChief ⛩️

✈️ What is an airlift? It’s how relief reaches people when roads are impassable. In South Sudan, where roads can vanish for months, WFP aviation delivers food, water and medicine at scale - 13,000+ tons delivered and 9,400 tons airdropped in 2025.

1 in 3 people in #Gaza goes days without food. People are starving, while we have food just across the border. WFP is ready to deliver, but we need open entry points, safe routes, and the conditions to reach every community in need. A ceasefire is desperately needed.

Over 400,000 people have fled to Tawila, #Sudan, seeking safety. Many have arrived with little or nothing. WFP Sudan is delivering emergency food and nutrition assistance. More aid is on the way. We need sustained and predictable access to turn the tide of #famine.

#Nepal is facing one of its deadliest disasters in decades. Flash floods near the Nepal–China border have killed over 150 people, left hundreds missing, and destroyed roads, bridges, and entire communities While no single event can be blamed solely on climate change, rising global temperatures are making extreme weather more frequent and severe. Prayers for Nepal

Bread and hope are returning to homes in #Gaza. This is a crucial time to support families who have lost so much. WFP is scaling up to reach everyone who is hungry, wherever they are. We need sustained access to continue this essential support. We cannot go back.

Something unusual seems to be happening in Nepal Multiple mountain collapses have been reported and many people are wondering whether this is part of a larger geological event or a series of isolated incidents

The damage from this storm is severe. Communities are without power. Roads are blocked. Families are facing tough conditions. We're moving quickly to get people what they need—shelter, food, fuel, electricity—and to make sure no one is left behind.

🇳🇵💔 Seeing nature unleash such fury in Nepal is truly heartbreaking. The sudden floods, powerful currents, mud, debris, and landslides gave people barely any time to react. 🌊⛰️🚨 Roads and communities have been affected in many areas, while rescue and relief teams are doing their best to reach those in need. In such difficult times, we must stand with the people of Nepal and extend whatever help we can. 🙏🇳🇵 May God protect everyone and give the affected families strength to overcome this crisis. ❤️🤝 #Nepal #NepalDisaster #NepalFlood #FlashFlood #NepalTragedy #Rescue #NaturalDisaster #Himalayas #PrayForNepal

New food delivery robots are encountering unforeseen obstacles when attempting to make deliveries, America’s crumbling roads and sidewalks These delivery robots encounter sidewalks that haven’t been maintained, they can’t navigate this terrain If the bump is big enough, they stop completely These are Starship Technologies autonomous delivery robots. They have 6 wheels, use cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors, GPS, and AI machine learning to navigate and they still can’t handle how bad our infrastructure is getting
