Florida? What’s going on?

It’s called red tide. From all the fertilizer and chemicals that they put in the grass. Every time they drain lake, Okeechobee, it washes all those chemicals into the ocean, which takes the oxygen out of the water and causes the fish to die. Happens every year.

Red Tide. The Florida beach scourge that the Florida tourism industry doesn't want you to know about. It not only kills the fish, it also burns your eyes and chokes you on the beaches.

Leave it up to a left-wing liberal to go out in a kayak in red tide, breathing in all that bacteria, and he wonders why he’s probably going to have lung issues for years to come. I’m sure he’ll blame Donald Trump. Lol.

Red Tide. We also have blue algae that does this also and is toxic to humans. This happens here each year due to the fertilizers they dump off into our water. I wish it would stop and that our beautiful State could be cleaned up. @RonDeSantisFL

It’s red tide. It’s been happening since at least the 1830s when University of Alabama was founded and they named their mascot the Crimson Tide. It was named after red tide that came in and killed everything. I believe it to be a form of algae.

It’s called the red tide #RedTide . Google it . I experienced bad red tide in Sarasota and Manatee County few weeks ago. Some days were unbearable to be on the beach.. Thank you corporations for poisoning the beautiful land and the people #Okeechobee lake❗️
