Letsile Tebogo was asked after winning the men's 200m final if he aspires to world records and being the face of track and field. Here was his answer: "I can't be the face of athletics because I'm not an arrogant or a loud person like Noah (Lyles)." #Paris2024

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack Ngl having a villain like this who is also good is good for the sport.

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack Yeah he needed to be humbled I don’t believe the Covid thing for a second

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack If you talk it, ya' better walk it. No excuses!

@FloTrack Don't start saying you had covid 🤣🤣🤣 and get on a wheelchair... walk it...

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack Guy who reminds everyone that he battled serious depression last Olympics says that he is going to make others depressed today. He has absolutely zero awareness and is a total narcissist.

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack If this dude had Bolt's ability, then I'd get the arrogance but dude u win by tiny margins & come 3rd 😭😭

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack Before you come for letsile, watch this video.

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack That aged well.

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack I'm not a fan of his antics but I think he does it bc he's insecure. There's a diff btwn just being a character bc you are one & whatever this bravado act is, like he needs validated. I think he'd be better off NOT being the face (& track would be better off telling more stories)

@AMG_Owner @FloTrack Context - Confident in his own abilities and humble about other performers How would you prefer him to act? Shy? Down? Not confident? Imagine being a world class athlete and being confident in yourself and having other out you down for it 🙄
