This is BS.. why is the richest country in the world flying single engine crop duster planes like they’re a third word country? I do not envy these people and I pray for them.

The OA-1K Skyraider II is a specialized, single engine turboprop aircraft developed for use by AFSOC and SOCOM. Built for the Armed Overwatch program, it converts a rugged crop duster into an effective platform for armed intelligence, surveillance, and close air support.

The crop duster chase in North by Northwest (1959) still feels unbelievably modern. Hitchcock takes an empty field with almost nowhere to hide and somehow turns it into one of the most suspenseful chase scenes ever filmed.

NORTH BY NORTHWEST turns 67 today. The crop-duster sequence was filmed without rear projection or studio backdrops. Alfred Hitchcock shot it against the real Indiana landscape, combining practical stunt work to create one of most iconic chase sequences.

🚨White house: Loading tonight... A crop formation depicting the message 'loading....' What is going on right now? The crop formation rules out speculation over 'illegal immigrants' as some have suggested. A helicopter flying over some high tech looking formation? Are we wheeling out the big boy toys? #ufotwitter #uapX #disclosure

The crop-duster attack in North by Northwest (1959) is Hitchcock flexing. He takes away the shadows and the safety of night, leaves Cary Grant alone in the open, and still builds one of the most iconic suspense scenes ever filmed.
