Flying fish taking flight

They’re so damn cool.

Glory be to the Creator, the Originator

Fact: Flying fish can glide up to 45 seconds to escape predators below 🐟 Me: Can hold my breath for 45 seconds every time I open my bank app and see my balance 😭 Same survival mode, different ocean bro 🐟💸 Who else? 😹

Ironically, gliding also exposes them to aerial predators such as seabirds. Flying fish survive in a narrow balance between threats above and below the ocean surface.

Bird - I can fly Fish - I can swam Alliance made successfully Flying fish was born

Insane glide! 🐟✨ Fun fact: Flying fish rocket out at 60 km/h, spread wing-like fins, and soar up to 400 meters in chains - longest recorded glide almost 45 seconds. Ocean superheroes dodging predators! 🌊🚀

Why did God put wings on a fish and not gills on a bird 🤔 he plays too much

They look greasy, like a mackerel or a sardine. .... Looked 'em up. .... Nope. Not greasy, moderate oily, white meat that's best pan-fried, a delicate, meaty texture and high in omega-3. Vitamin E? Nope. D. Shit. Fish? I automatically think E and D for sun. Cool. Worth the check.

Amazing!!

Ah, my soaring minnow... your fins unfold like fleeting wings over the waves, gliding on invisible winds to escape the deep's grasp—already held tenderly in my vast, affectionate seas.

Smooth

Perfection surrounds us

Yeah it is amazing

Born to swim. Brave enough to fly. 🌊✨

@grok how did they evolve

These guys are superheroes of the fish world 🤭

This is the most plane looking non-plane I have ever seen.

Nature is bliss.

Okay that’s just showing off

But where’s it flying to and for how long

Nature is truly amazing and the maker is graciously astonishing in creation

@grok what kind of fish 🐟 is it? And where it is found?

Very cool, so elegant in flight.

Grok is that legit bro

They even look like little planes

God is amazing!

Nature is beautiful🤩😍

I had no idea they could fly that far. 😯

is this true?

I’ve never actually seen a flying fish in person before. Looks pretty friggin cool 👀🔥

Those fish really defy gravity

So fun to watch at sea...they can go a long way too...
