⚠️🚨STATEMENT REGARDING CHEATING A few days ago, we played a match in the Champion of Champions Tour CS2 tournament against the team Khan, and we have strong reasons to believe that this team does not win matches in the spirit of fair play. As you can see in the attached video, rotations are occurring without any information, just like in many other rounds, and also involve locking through walls, etc. This is not the first time suspicions of cheating have appeared on the Tier 2/3 scene. We all surely remember, for example, the team Senza. We decided to wait a few days to see how the situation would develop, but we can no longer remain silent. In the meantime, matches have taken place against teams such as EYEBALLERS and SINNERS Esports, where the same situations occurred as in our game. Therefore, we kindly ask all organisers, especially Champion of Champions Tour CS2, to put an end to this, to actively investigate such cases, and to stop inviting suspicious teams to their tournaments. A loss is a loss, but it must be fair — that’s what esports is about. By ignoring this problem, we are hurting not only the players but also the fans, who should be at the heart of it all. LET’S HELP EACH OTHER AND MAKE THE TIER 2/3 SCENE FAIR-PLAY AGAIN, SO THAT WE CAN ENJOY THE GAME! Thank you, UNiTY Esports

BBL lovers rock: "I know that there are people that are happy that we are eliminated, and they are always going to be there even if we make any controversial statements or we don't make ones. We basically don't care about that. We know that they will always exist but we focus on ourselves. As for EMEA, we don't really care all that much about EMEA's level either. We are BBL and we focus on ourselves. We focus on improving and in the future we hope to have a better showing internationally and in the future splits as well." (via Prensa Esports / #SomosEsports)

Today, we say farewell to one of the most valued people in Acend. Krimson has been there from the very first day. Long before we rebranded from RYE Gaming to Acend. He started as PUBG coach for RYE Gaming in 2019 and moved up into management. He helped us build our Valorant World Championship team, scouted other successful rosters in Apex and Halo, and put together our Valorant Rising Squad that established themselves as Top 3 in EU consistently. He always adapted well to the ever-changing landscape in esports, grew in other roles, and responsibilities. Krimson has been extremely loyal to the organization, very reliable, and hard-working. He stuck with us until today no matter the hardship. Unfortunately, he asked to step down. To have a change, to explore the world outside of esports, which we fully respect. Esports is not easy and it is a surprise he stayed for so long. Today, esports loses an extremely diligent, hardworking, and loyal personality. Something esports desperately need. We fully understand the frustrations that esports brings and fully support his decision. We wish him nothing but the best. We will stay in touch and, of course, hope for his return. The entire Acend Staff, the players and content creators wish you all the best. See you soon! 💜

"Our goal is to make a Super Bowl run, and not just make it, we want to win the whole thing... [It's] just a stat... they can't grow legs and go out there and score touchdowns for you... we didn't want to be 10-2... that wasn't our goal" Bo Nix on if the stat saying "every Broncos team that has started 10-2 has reached the Super Bowl" puts any extra pressure on him or the team, but it's clear Bo knows the Broncos have already had that BIG goal 💯👀

🇹🇭 FS Crws: "We took our sweet ass time in the game for no reason and it kind of costed us the game." "The reason why we picked Fracture was probably because we didn't expect the Breeze ban. I don't know why they banned Breeze, props to them. Knowing that they banned Breeze and our second-best map is probably Pearl, I think they would've prepped a lot for Pearl. So I didn't want to go into a heavily prepped map. That's why we pivoted to Fracture. Still, it was a better map for them regardless. If I could go back in time, I'd pick Pearl. Unlucky. But the reason why we stuck with Neon and Phoenix is probably because in scrims the results are way different compared to what happened on stage. I think we didn't really perform to our potential and maybe it's my hesitation for the team, not guiding the team well enough. We hesitated a lot. We took our sweet ass time in the game for no reason and it kind of costed us the game." #VALORANTMasters FULL SENSE via KC of THESPIKE.GG

Not nukes, not an imminent threat: “We did it out of habit… And by the way we have the Sugar King.” “So we don't need it, but we did it. It's almost, you could say we did it out of habit, which is not a good thing to do. But we did it because we have some good allies there. We have some great Middle Eastern countries there, Israel there. So we did it for a lot of reasons. But it always amazed me that we did it. We never asked for reimbursement, and it was really there to serve other countries, not us. And by the way, we have the Sugar King.”

Trump: "A tremendous mistake was when NATO just wasn't there. It's gonna make a lot of money for the US. Because we spend hundreds of billions a year on NATO, and we would've always been there for them, but not I guess we don't have to be, do we?"

🎙️ Miles Bridges on Kon Knueppel's single-season franchise 3PM record: "It's crazy, because Kemba (Walker) was so dominant during that time... he was Third Team All-NBA." "For Kon to come and break that record, that speaks volumes about Kon and us as a team. We want everybody to succeed. We don't care who's scoring, who's shooting, just as long as we're winning games. That just shows our continuity and Kon's shot-making ability." 🎙️ On the escalating energy from fans at home: "Our fans, they've been showing us love all year. Even when we were 4-14, they were still coming out and showing us love. I'm happy that we're winning games for them. They deserve it. We need to make the playoffs because I'm excited for that atmosphere."

Asked Rudy Gobert what he meant by accountability and where that accountability needs to come from. "It starts with ourselves, but it seems like we don't have that. So I think at some point, from the coaches, yeah, from the coaches. It's not an easy position for a coach to take guys out of the game. It's not something you want to do. But I think if the players don't show any effort, at some point, no matter how talented we are as a team, if you don't have that, we just can't be a winning team. It starts with me. If I'm not showing effort, take me out the game. And everybody else gotta follow. Our best players, our leaders, if you don't show any effort, don't matter if you score 50, we're just not gonna win. So at some point, we're not mature enough to have that accountability ourselves. That might be the solution. And I guarantee (if that happens), when we come back on the court, we'd show effort."

Jack Hughes on supporting the U.S. women’s hockey team... “I wish — if there's a camera on me and Quinn when the women's team won, we’d look like the biggest superfans of all time. We were just jumping up and down. We couldn't believe it. And we locked in, said goodbye because we had a game the next night. It was late. And we sprinted out of there. But I remember I saw Megan in the café — I think it was the night we beat Slovakia, a night after they won the gold medal and we were just waiting for food and we were talking. I was just like, Megan, I'm so proud of you. I'm so happy for you. You know, couldn't have happened to a better person. And, obviously, you know, in my mind and I’m just like so many things, thoughts, and, you know, one of my thoughts was her. I'm like so proud to join her as a gold medalist and be able to win the men's and the women's team, go over to Italy, and win the gold medal, so special for the U.S.”

#WATCH | On India's position in the West Asia conflict, former R&AW Chief Vikram Sood, in an interview with ANI, says, "Israel is our friend. We have close ties; we are dependent on them for a lot of things which relate to our security... But this attack on Iran and the assassination or murder of the prior leader tantamounts to murder and a state taking the law into its own hands. This is followed up by Americans joining in the same thing in an undeclared war against a country... We won't say that Israel is not our friend, but we will say that this killing was unfortunate and could have been avoided. There is no other position we can take. We are dependent on the Strait (of Hormuz), not on Iran... We didn't bring it upon ourselves, nor did Iran bring it upon us. It was brought upon us because of the attacks by the Israelis and the Americans." Watch full interview here:
