If this were just a regular employee speaking to their boss, I would call this ass-kissing. But it’s not. This is truly how so many people feel about President Trump, including the people who work directly underneath him. “Thank you Mr. President for being willing to take a bullet for this country… The fact that this President, after four years of serving in office, he could have just left it in the rearview mirror and went on to really enjoy retirement. But he is willing to take a bullet for all of you tuning in at home, because he believes in this flag of freedom, our liberties, and to save the greatest country in the history of the world. Day 6 of building GTA 6 with a loop of AI agents. Today's drop: - intro cinematic - a real main menu (start game actually works) - loading screen - the whole front-end wired end to end. So the look is done. Menu → load → you're in. it boots like a real AAA game. We've been building in Godot the whole way, it's starting to show its limits on the AAA stuff. So this week I'm going to go test Unity to see if we can get the actual game into AAA stuff as well. That's the part nobody measures. Every "best engine" take is about how it looks. For a game built by a loop of agents, the only question that matters is which one they can read, edit, and push on their own. Godot's good at that. Unity might be better, with way more assets off the market. I'm going to find out. Agents still looping. Fable will be back soon! I'll report back which engine they build faster in.

The extras packed 4K UHD / Blu-ray disc for The Running Man Movie is out TODAY. It's loaded with 2 HOURS of extra material - just the way you like it. As another sneak peak at the goodies, here's a commercial using all of the amazing 'HARDEST HITS' sequences put together by our stunt team. The use of 'Ode To Joy' is a little nod to the 1988 TV spot of 'Die Hard'. It was cut together by our amazing additional editor Jerry Ramsbottom and, yes, that IS the voice of James Austin Johnson at the end.* Enjoy this and so many other goodies on the disc. If you already bought and watched them - let me know what you loved. London, I'll see you at @picturehousecentral tomorrow night at 7pm for a special Q&A for 'The Running Man'. (*NB - At one point we had this TV spot open the movie before the studio logos. Ultimately we went back to the original opening from the script, but it was fun to see it with a few audiences like this.)

Sam Parr credits a practice called "copywork" for helping him build an 8-figure media business. He learned it from Benjamin Franklin, and it's the way we used to teach kids how to write. The method is simple: have people copy others' writing by hand. Simple as that — and doing so gives people a sense for a writer's flow, voice, and rhythm. These examples in history stick out: 1. Hunter S. Thompson rewrote every word of The Great Gatsby by hand so he could feel what it's like to write a great novel. 2. Ben Franklin used copywork to level up as a newsletter writer and get good at persuading people. 3. Judd Apatow rewrote Saturday Night Live skits by hand to get a sense for what good joke writing requires. 4. Jack London rewrote the works of Rudyard Kipling to master the art of storytelling. OpenAI just announced API access to o1 (advanced reasoning model) yesterday. I'm delighted to announce today a new short course, Reasoning with o1, built with OpenAI, and taught by Colin Jarvis, Head of AI Solutions at OpenAI, to show you how to use this effectively! Unlike previous language models which generate output directly, o1 “thinks before it responds,” and generates many reasoning tokens before returning a more thoughtful and accurate response. It is great at complex reasoning -- including planning for agentic workflows, coding, and domain-specific reasoning in STEM fields like law. But how you should use it is quite different from other LLMs. I think o1 will be a game changer for many AI applications; and in this course, you'll learn how to use it effectively. In detail, you’ll: - Learn to recognize what tasks o1 is suited for, and when to use a smaller model, or combine o1 with a smaller model - Understand the new principles of prompting reasoning models: Be simple and direct; no explicit chain-of-thought required; use structure; show rather than tell - Implement multi-step orchestration in which o1 plans, and hands tasks over to gpt-4o-mini to execute specific steps; this illustrates a design pattern to optimize intelligence (accuracy) and cost - Use o1 for a coding task to build a new application, edit existing code, and test performance by running a coding competition between o1-mini and GPT 4o - Use o1 for image understanding and learn how it performs better with a "hierarchy of reasoning," in which it incurs the latency and cost upfront, preprocessing the image and indexing it with rich details so it can be used for Q&A later - Learn a technique called meta-prompting, in which you use o1 to improve your prompts. Using a customer support evaluation set, you'll iteratively use o1 to modify a prompt to improve performance You'll also learn about how OpenAI used reinforcement learning to produce a model that uses "test-time compute" to improve performance. 2 years ago, Riffusion was one of the first music generating AI models, by finetuning Stable Diffusion literally on images of waveforms, and then decoding those as audio again I made a song for my gf with it called "Bunny Trouble, Trouble Bubble" about a year ago, extremely catchy and we loved it But it was capped to 12 seconds and I could only imagine how it'd be as a full song Now Suno is finally good enough and I used it as an input so I could extend it from a 12 second clip to 3 minute song, it's essentially the audio version of img2img It took a few times extending it and half the times the output was very bad but the other half it was really great The quality is still a bit low because Riffusion's quality itself was quite low, so that's not Suno's fault, it just extends the low quality into a full song, what I need is an audio upscaler to fix that The fun thing about this, every year music generating AI will be better and I can try inputting the song again to make it better and better If you wanna do the same with your short clip: 1) go to Suno 2) click Create 3) click Custom 4) Upload Audio, upload your short clip here Your existing clip now gets added to the listing on the right (bit confusing) 5) Now hover over it and tap extend 6) More confusingly it will now only play the extended part not the full song 7) To get the full song, click the 3 vertical dots ... -> Create -> Get Whole Song 8) That will stitch your original input clip and the extended clip into one Now you'll probably have a 1 minute clip, so 9) Extend that WHOLE SONG clip again and do the same stitch thing (Get Whole Song) again Depending on the clips you like and not, choose the ones you wanna continue with by stitching them By now you'll have about a 3 minute song!
