One day, I was working on a university assignment, and I suddenly felt nauseous, like I was going to throw up. And in the end, I did. The first time I threw up, it was red like blood. Bright red. I panicked and rushed to the hospital. Everyone freaked out and quickly took me there. As soon as I arrived, I was sent straight to the emergency room. The doctor examined me and asked, “What did you do? How many times did you throw up before there was blood?” I told them that the first time I threw up, it was already blood. The doctor said, “In that case, we need to perform a gastric lavage. We have to insert a tube down your throat to check if there’s internal bleeding” Then the doctor asked, “Did you eat anything red recently?” That’s when it finally hit me — I had eaten strawberries earlier. I hadn’t eaten anything else all day, just strawberries. And not just a few… I ate an entire bowl by myself. Everyone was so stressed, thinking I had some kind of serious illness. I had actually been having stomach pain for a while, so I forgot to think that it might be because of the strawberries. 🗣️: So, who took you to the hospital? 🐶: My mom took me. Everyone was so shocked, thinking I had some kind of disease. 🐶: So yeah, guys, don’t eat too many strawberries like I did because you might throw up red and freak out, thinking it’s blood … just like me.

It’s another one of those days. My equipment was just smashed to the ground. That’s another broken tripod, and this time my DJI audio equipment did not survive. Police are already involved. Here's the first 28 seconds of the Chris and Colin Albert bodycam of them making a report of someone "following" Colin, he was opening D&E Pizza, getting out of his Jeep after I got to my car and when I was about to pull off he got back in his Jeep. I pulled out, and so did he. I knew he was going to follow me. I "banged a uey," and he passed by me going the way he thought I was. I then turn around 1 more time and go to a police call at Cassies Coner Store on Washington Street near the Police station (as I was listening to my scanner). In education, are we more focused on what school will look like 10 years from now, or asking the question, what are we doing with students today, and how will that affect them in 10 years? I also wonder how many students truly care about our “10 Year” plans in education. What matters most to them is what we are doing today. I was having a conversation with my daughter Kallea this past week and sharing about an opportunity that I wanted and how it didn’t work out. That was a teachable moment and I asked her, “What do you think your dad is going to do now?” Without hesitating she said, “Work harder.” This is something that I have talked about with her a lot, but hopefully, it is also something that I model. Sometimes things don’t work out because life isn’t fair. And sometimes, things don’t work out because we are not ready and haven’t done the work to get the accomplishment. It is easy to make the fault of others, and sometimes, that is even true. But I know that I always can control my own actions and if you complain about a problem, once you are finished complaining, it is still a problem. Only action creates future opportunities. My actions are the only things I can control. I hope this sticks with her and my kids because I know it is something my parents instilled in me. Of course, we need to focus on what school and learning can look like in the future, but we also have to understand that the future is also very dependent on what we install in our children today.

Q: How did you find out that BTS was coming here to the Zócalo? 👤: I found out at the hospital, my daughter is in the hospital, she has leukemia. She was the one who saw the news and saw them, she is a huge fan, a huge fan. She's been in the hospital since Tuesday. Just today at 4PM, the doctors passed by and told her, "Let's watch BTS on the TV," and she said yes. She said, "Mommy, what if you go?" and I said, "Okay, I'll go." By 4.45 PM, I was two stations away. Just as I stepped out of the Metro, that's when BTS was coming out onto the balcony. I was able to send her a photo, it's a bit blurry but I was able to send it to my little girl. Q: A dream come true 👤: Yes, even just to see them like that.. that's how I found out, and we did it. We managed to at least see them.

You don’t know how I felt when I watched that clip.
