Following its single engine static fire the day before, Starship S35 performed a extended 6 engine static fire. We will have to wait and see what SpaceX says about the results, as it looked to have been a not nominal ending. NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

Static Fire livestream replay (with a bonus Starlink launch):

Will Elon Musk and SpaceX Ever Reach Mars? #mars #elonmusk #science

@NASASpaceflight Maybe they replicated their "unplanned energetic event" of the last two launches. If so, that would be very good as they'd be able to dissect the failure and design to fix it.

@NASASpaceflight I hope this gives them what they need to figure out what's is going on.

@NASASpaceflight Ugh, not what this program needs right now. Better on the ground than over Florida. 1 has to wonder, though, does the new transfer tube design with RapVac having their own fees lines on V2 ship have anything to do with the failures. Does @SpaceX need to go back to V1 plumbing?

@NASASpaceflight Block 2 will no longer fly

@NASASpaceflight Being able to reproduce any problem on the ground is a huge win.

@NASASpaceflight I'd love to see SpaceX's drone footage. Might be very helpful in figuring out what happened

@NASASpaceflight Interesting update! Can't wait to hear SpaceX's take on the results.

@NASASpaceflight Exciting updates! Looking forward to SpaceX's insights on the results.
