SHE TEXTED THE GOVERNOR—AND HE ANSWERED WITH HIS HEART She was just a girl with a dream—and a disease. Ummi, 31, has lived with proximal myopathy—a progressive muscle disorder—for over 18 years. A condition that slowly stole her strength, her ability to walk, to move, to live like others. Yet somehow, she fought. She studied. She graduated with a law degree. But life, once again, stood in her way. She couldn’t proceed to Law School. Her body had grown too weak. One day—perhaps out of hope, perhaps desperation—Ummi found the courage to text His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf . She didn’t expect a reply. But he read it. He acted. And today—Kano witnessed a story that will live forever in our hearts. His Excellency directed me personally to find Ummi. To investigate her case thoroughly. And when the diagnosis was confirmed, he made a promise: “All her medical bills, all necessary equipment, everything she needs—I will take care of it.” And he did. Wheelchairs. Physiotherapy machines. Specialized support devices—worth millions of Naira—were provided to Ummi. But today… was different. Because today, Ummi’s greatest wish was fulfilled. She met the man who changed her life. She met the Governor. She was speechless. Tears flowed. Not just from her eyes, but from those of everyone present. A moment of humanity, compassion, and destiny. And what did His Excellency do? He took her hand and told her: “From today, you are my daughter. If you need anything, text me directly.” He connected her with his own daughter—also a Law student—to support her journey. He offered food supplies for her family. Promised them a memorable Sallah celebration. And the Lady (Amina) who has spent years taking care of Ummi? His Excellency placed her on the Government House’s casual staff payroll—immediately. He didn’t stop there. His Exellency offered Ummi counseling. He reminded her gently: “This is life. Every soul has its test, its path, its destiny. But what matters is hope—and the people who help you carry on.” This is not just governance. This is humanity. This is not just leadership. This is rare, God-given compassion. In a world where many leaders ignore the cries of the people, our Governor listens. He acts. He heals. May history remember this day. May it remember Abba K Yusuf — The People’s Governor. The Father to the Forgotten. The Hope of a New Nigeria. Dr. Atiku Gandu

The Supreme Court order on stray dogs in Delhi is nothing but a death sentence for every single stray on every single street in the national capital - and each one of us needs to raise our voice against it to #SaveDelhiDogs. Listen, I’m not some animal rights activist. I think every single stray dog needs to be vaccinated, sterilised, and released into safe surroundings. Those who bite humans should be rehabilitated or put into a shelter. But how on EARTH and WHY are you putting EVERY SINGLE STREET DOG in Delhi in a shelter? Pehle toh aapke paas shelter nahi hai, aur order implement ABHI honi hai. What is the government doing? Releasing them into the forest! Into the ridge! How the hell will they survive? What is worse, they have absurd rules - you cannot adopt any dog that has been put into a shelter. So what will a puppy who has been picked up from the street today do? Live the rest of his life in a sarkari prison? The Supreme Court is correct to worry about a rise in rabies cases. But the solution is not this ABSURD, IMPRACTICAL, and INHUMAN plan to throw all our street dogs into poorly managed, poorly built shelters in the middle of nowhere. GLOBAL examples have shown that there is only ONE solution to this problem: vaccinate, sterilise, and release. Why does the government not want to follow SUPREME COURT RULINGS directing the MCD to carry out sterilisation drives? With all due respect to the Supreme Court, today’s verdict is not based in legal precedent nor in common sense or scientific fact. Aur toh aur, it goes against laws put in place by Parliament because of leaders like Maneka Sanjay Gandhi ji. This is a classic case of judicial overreach by a judiciary that has forgotten that it cannot invent the law. Finally, baat rahi of long term solutions. Most strays were once pets bought from sasta breeders who don’t care about animals. What happens when the dog that Dimple Aunty bought for her son’s birthday is thrown onto the streets one year later? When he mates with another dog abandoned by another careless owner and has kids on the street? How many dogs will you keep transferring to these shelters - and for how long? Look at the condition of the gaushalas constructed by this government. Look at the failed policy of trying to send monkeys to shelters. Jo gay ko sambhal nahi paaye, jo Dilli mein bandaron ki samasya ka hal dhoondh nahi sake, woh kutton ki kya izzat karenge? MCD ki incompetence ki keemat hamare strays kyun bhare? Rekha Gupta ji, reconsider your decision. You still have time. We can work together to ensure Delhi’s streets are safe for dogs AND humans.

Jubilation Rocks Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH) as Power is Restored After Years of Outage, Students Express Gratitude to Governor Otti. Students of Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH) have taken to celebration, expressing deep gratitude to Governor Alex Otti’s administration following the restoration of electricity and steady water supply to their hostels after many years of blackout. This joy is not misplaced. For years, ABSUTH students endured unimaginable hardship in an institution where electricity and water, basic essentials of any health facility were absent. The very teaching hospital that should represent life and healing was abandoned, left to decay, and eventually lost accreditation. In those dark years, ABSUTH became a symbol of neglect, a place where the living struggled to survive and even the dead couldn't rest in peace. Ironically, the very past administrations that failed the institution are today demanding accountability from the same governor who is painstakingly restoring its glory. At the inception of Governor Alex Otti’s administration, he declared a state of emergency on health institutions. ABSUTH was among the first beneficiaries of the New Abia Touch. Accreditation was restored, arrears owed to workers for years were cleared, facilities were rehabilitated, and the hospital buildings were given a human face. Today, ABSUTH is once again a center of excellence, producing graduates who can stand proudly anywhere in the world. The restoration of electricity is more than a symbolic victory, it is a life-saving necessity. With power restored, emergencies can be attended to effectively, surgeries will no longer be at the mercy of darkness, and patient care will improve drastically. Just recently, a 430kWh battery storage system and 150kVA inverter solar power system was installed at the Abia Multi-Specialist Hospital to further enhance service delivery. Governor Otti’s vision is clear and succinct; with uninterrupted power, Abia’s health institutions can thrive, respond swiftly to emergencies, and save countless lives. It does not end there. Across the state, 100 Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) have been reconstructed to provide accessible, door-to-door healthcare, even in the most rural communities. This is the New Abia breathing life into what years of misrule had suffocated. Governor Otti has repeatedly assured Abians that the state will soon become a medical tourism destination, a promise already taking shape with the proposed Abia Medical City, a $1.3 billion world-class facility set to transform healthcare delivery in Africa. So, when you see Abians rejoicing, praising progress, and rejecting those who seek to return to power through propaganda, understand their joy. A people who endured 24 years of ruin and are finally seeing light will never again embrace darkness. For the first time in decades, Abians are experiencing real, intentional governance and are united in their resolve for continuity. As for those in the opposition, the door of repentance is still open. They can either embrace this new era of progress and join in rebuilding Abia from the ground up, or remain in their shadows of mischief. My name is Miracle Chukwunenye, a proud Aba boy who now walks tall when called Nwa Aba, because indeed, dignity has returned to that name. Thank you, Governor Alex Otti, for keeping your promises to Ndi Abia and for being prepared to do even more. Miracle Chukwunenye August 28, 2025

A call for establishment of a transitional regional government that represents diverse perspectives and for the immediate withdrawal of military forces from the Amhara region by Former Amhara Region Governor Gedu Andargachew. The leaked footage by Ethiopian Reporter captures Gedu's candid address to the Ethiopian Parliament, wherein he raises significant concerns and critiques the actions of the current administration. Here are the key takeaways from his speech: 1. Failure to Learn from Past Mistakes: Gedu acknowledges that the government failed to learn from its five-year history of ineffective governance, implying that the purported reform efforts were misguided from the start. 2. Manipulating Political Problems: The former governor accuses the Prime Minister's government of orchestrating political issues and then resorting to military intervention to solve them, highlighting a troubling pattern that has persisted over the past five years. 3. Military Force vs. Political Solutions: Gedu asserts that military intervention cannot be a lasting solution to Ethiopia's political problems, and that pursuing peaceful political means is the key to achieving sustainable peace. He underscores that the Ethiopian nation's prospects for peace lie in political dialogue rather than the continued violence that has left a trail of devastation. 4. Addressing Legitimate Concerns: Gedu acknowledges the legitimate concerns of the Amhara population, emphasizing that addressing these concerns through political channels is crucial. 5. Regime's Political Failures: Gedu points to the regime's political failures and lack of accountability as the root causes of the ongoing crisis, shifting blame away from the people and armed groups. 6. Misrepresentation of Amhara Concerns: The former governor criticizes the government for mischaracterizing the genuine concerns of the Amhara people as extremism, urging a more considerate approach to address these legitimate issues. 7. Reform Reversed to Dictatorship: Gedu declares that the initially promising reforms have regressed into a form of dictatorship. 8. Victims of Ethnic-Based Violence: Gedu emphasizes that the Amhara population has been victimized by ethnic-based violence due to the government's failures, and laments the violent response to their demand for dignity and security. 9. Legitimate Anger and Concerns: The former governor highlights the justified anger and concerns of the Amhara people, emphasizing that military suppression will not quell legitimate questions. 10. Broken Relationship with Prosperity Party: Gedu asserts that the relationship between the Amhara people and the Prosperity Party has deteriorated beyond repair, casting doubt on the party's legitimacy to govern the region. In his conclusion, Gedu recommends the establishment of a transitional regional government that represents diverse perspectives, calling for the immediate withdrawal of military forces from the Amhara region. However, following the speech, Gedu's residence was reportedly raided by regime forces, underscoring the ongoing tensions and crackdowns within the country. Safety Checks Carried Out at Pattaya Entertainment Venues Following Deadly Bangkok Fire Following the deadly fire at an entertainment venue in Soi Lat Phrao 1, Bangkok, which claimed multiple lives and raised nationwide concerns about safety standards at nightlife venues, Chonburi Governor Naris Niramaiwong has ordered all relevant agencies to intensify inspections of entertainment businesses across the province. The focus is on Pattaya, one of Thailand’s busiest tourist destinations, where large numbers of visitors use nightlife venues every day. At 8.30pm on July 13, 2026, Chonburi Deputy Governor Isara Charoenchasri led a multi-agency inspection team in Pattaya. Joining him were Bang Lamung District Chief Anusak Piriyamorn, Pattaya City Police Chief Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyu, Pattaya Deputy City Clerk Kiatsak Sriwongchai, Tourist Police, district administration officials, and other relevant agencies. The inspections were carried out under the governor’s directive, with officers examining emergency escape routes, exit signage, emergency lighting systems, and fire extinguishers to improve safety for residents and tourists. A total of seven entertainment venues were inspected, including three venues outside designated entertainment zones and four within licensed entertainment zones. The inspections also covered several large venues along Walking Street in South Pattaya, one of the city’s busiest tourist areas. Officials found a number of safety deficiencies at several venues. These included an insufficient number of emergency exit signs, too few fire extinguishers for the size of the premises, and inadequate emergency lighting systems. Business operators were instructed to correct the issues immediately, while Pattaya City officials and the Bang Lamung District Office were ordered to conduct follow-up inspections to ensure compliance. Deputy Governor Isara Charoenchasri said the inspections were ordered in response to the devastating Bangkok fire, which resulted in significant loss of life. He said Chonburi Province is particularly concerned because Pattaya has a high concentration of entertainment venues and attracts large numbers of tourists. He explained that inspections are focusing on building readiness, including emergency escape routes, fire suppression equipment, obstacles blocking evacuation paths, and interior decorative materials which may increase the risk of fire. Operators have been instructed to bring their premises up to safety standards as quickly as possible to reduce risks in the event of an emergency. He stressed that protecting both residents and tourists remains the province’s highest priority and is essential to maintaining confidence in Pattaya’s reputation as a safe international tourism destination. 🎬 Pattaya News Online #ข่าวด่วน #ไฟไหม้ #กรุงเทพมหานคร #ไฟไหม้ผับลาดพร้าว #ไฟไหม้กรุงเทพ #Bangkok #Pattaya

#FreeDeleFarotimiNow Afe Babalola the Emperor of Ekiti state has given the order and it has been followed. Bring Dele Farotimi, he said, let him come rot in jail in Ekiti state. Since he has been speaking against the APC government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu they also informed all their security agencies to make sure the operation was successful. They went to the church in preach once in a while and kidnapped two pastors to get him. They went to his office and did the same for a security man, trying to lure him with dispatch. They finally went to his office yesterday, beat up staff, collected their phones, and threatened to ki!l lawyers and other staffs and finally kidnapped Dele Farotimi to Ekiti. NOW, IF YOU CALL THIS AND ARREST , IT IS GOD THAT WOULD PUNISH YOU. The Court has already been briefed and the unjust judge quickly adjourned the case till 10th of December and asked Dele Farotimi to be remanded in prison, denying him bail. Afe Babalola should be happy now at least, Dele Farotimi has started suffering. E lo ti mo ewon, the Ba'tard ". He would be jubilating in his private corner. For me I think it is good that he is reminding us ,maybe for the last time how for years he has never stood for the people. I mean this was Olusegun Obasanjo's lawyer. This generation would know who he is. Free speech or intellectual property like a book or tweets, media graphics can't be criminalized. Except there is a clear threat to life and property. But when someone speaks against your character, profession or attitude in a negative way,you either respond by yourself or through a lawyer or you go to court. For all the oppressors that always choose to use power, instead of following the law, your days of tyranny are numbered. For citizens that are clever by half trying to dance around the law to approve the injustice melted on Dele Farotimi, your experience is coming. Everyday it becomes clear to NIGERIANS that we don't have a Nigerian police system that works what we have is a police force, enforcing actions for the elite. #RevolutionNow Is The solution.

NewsNation Anna Kooiman has evidence Big Agriculture is funding the anti- Make America Healthy Again campaigns and paying for fake science She has the recipes AND NAMES “We've got a list for you of a handful of them. The American Farm Bureau, The National Corn and Soybean Associations, the Modern Ag Alliance” “Here is the part, the quiet part that's not always mentioned out loud, at least not very vocally, is that these groups have incredibly strong financial ties to the very pesticide makers that are being questioned in this report. So we're following the money here. So the industry groups, another one like Crop Life, have given hundreds of thousands of dollars to corn, soybean and wheat lobbyists. — This is what lobbies do, is they push for their benefits, for their interests, for their members. So their goals often include swaying legislation to members. And this conflict of interest is something that's brought up heavily in the MAHA Commission report. — They also point to the problems and the conflicts of interest between a lot of the research that is being done because it's often being funded by industry insiders rather than independent research” “I think it's also worth pointing out that Bayer Monsanto has faced over a hundred thousand lawsuits, 100,000 lawsuits connected to pesticides allegedly causing cancer or other serious health conditions. Parkinson's, non Hodgkin's lymphoma, a whole host of issues that have been connected allegedly to their, to their product, to their pesticides. And Bayer Monsanto has already paid out $11 billion in settlements. That's a big number. $11 billion in settlements. But we've interviewed Bayer, and they maintain that their products are safe and they're approved by the epa. And when used the way that they are approved by the epa, they say it's safe. It's a debate about which science to trust, which research to trust, and what money is shaping that trust.”

Islamic cleric unleashes threats against opponents of Sharia Court in Oyo, other Yoruba states December 27, 2024 A video has surfaced showing a prominent Islamic cleric, known as the Mufti of Iwo, issuing threats against individuals and groups opposed to the establishment of a Sharia court in Oyo State and other Yoruba states. The cleric's inflammatory statements have raised widespread concern, with many warning that such rhetoric could lead to violence and public tension. In the video, the cleric is heard saying, "To those of you in Oyo State who dare oppose the Sharia court, you should know that your mothers were not born well to have given birth to you. You can go to your shrine to express your opinions, but if you publicly speak out against the Sharia court, we will unleash a flood of consequences upon you." The cleric's threats have been met with swift condemnation, with many calling on the Department of State Services (DSS) to invite him for questioning. Others have cautioned him against inciting religious violence in Yorubaland. Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has also weighed in on the controversy, stating that if the establishment of a Sharia court is against the constitution, it will not be allowed to stand. The debate surrounding the Sharia court has highlighted the complex and sensitive nature of religious issues in Nigeria. While some argue that Sharia law is an integral part of Islamic practice, others believe that its implementation could undermine the country's secular legal system. However, Many are calling for calm and restraint, urging leaders to prioritize peaceful coexistence and respect for the rule of law.

“Funke Akindele has faced multiple challenges in her relationships since she first dated Kehinde Oloyede, whose marriage to her did not last long. Meanwhile, rumors of intimacy between her and Femi Adebayo were widespread, which is a pure fact based on truth but she previously denied. It was rumored that this resulted in a dispute between Funke Akindele and Baba Belo at that time, with allegations that she claimed the man took her money, knowing he wouldn't marry her. She has now reportedly started greeting Baba Belo again. Gen Z might not be aware of these past events. Kendu at Oshodi, who previously campaigned to be elected as the Lagos State Governor, shared only one 'derica' of rice for his constituents in Oshodi during his campaign. If by mistake you become the governor, is that how you will be suffering the citizens with hunger? No wonder you were dumped by Funke Akindele; you are unfortunately a man with no future ambition. Femi Adebayo has been in the news for a long time, and Funke Akindele was reportedly part of why Femi was having issues with the woman who gave birth to twins for him. Femi Adebayo’s wife is crying up and down; do you all think she doesn’t know why she is crying? Is it because we are just looking away? But Funke’s tree is getting taller than her trimmer. Don't you all notice her now? Has she become a tomboy because all her outfits nowadays are oversized? Funke also disturbs the industry. I am sure she is still engaging in secret relationships; we just don’t know who she is with after dating Yinka Quadri and Femi Adebayo. Femi Adebayo was the one she was willing to marry and her heart’s choice, but Baba Belo didn't agree with it because Ilorin people, as it is known, do not like their spouse to be more successful than them. Since they all knew that Funke Akindele is richer than Femi Adebayo, they didn't let their relationship thrive.” -Bukky Jesse to Funke Akindele.
