This is the worst hit to self custody in Bitcoin's history. All we can do is act as quickly as possible. If you have a Coldcard in your setup, you need to move to safe keys or cycle your multisig. Don't wait, don't assume you have time, sit down and get it done. Do it carefully and don't skip steps. Here are a few of the quickest paths to safety and how to think about this going forward. To everyone who got hit by this, I cannot be more sorry.

New Ledger Flex is pretty cool. I got the SUI branded one but you can get most crypto branded versions. Every year it is good practice to get a new Ledger and to move your holdings from the old wallets to the new wallets for piece of mind and hygiene. Im preparing I suggest you do too. Always use self custody. IMO: When the currency devaluation begins and the asset revaluation begins, there is a non zero chance any asset held by a counterparty will be seized. Only those in self custody will realize the repricing event. This is why you MUST move your assets to self custody. Just do it. Disclaimer: Im not sponsored by any company or any project. It has no choice.” Love that quote from Shad Helmstetter in his great book ‘What To Say When You Talk To Your Self’. The inner dialogue that’s going on all the time in our head is THE most important thing we have going on. How we talk to ourselves is a huge part of creating a powerful self-image, which is important because we will never out perform a poor self-image. When we take control of our self-talk and feed our mind powerful thoughts, we direct our focus on to what we WANT to happen. When we let our self-talk happen by chance, many times our focus gets directed to what we DON’T WANT to happen. We can all take notes from AD_99 as he clearly had this mastered. Everyone knows Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb. 💡 Everyone is wrong. His name was Joseph Swan. Born in Pallion, Sunderland. Son of a failed entrepreneur. No university. No laboratory. No backing. Just a chemist's apprentice in his home town who couldn't stop thinking about light. He worked on it for twenty years. Along the way he invented bromide photographic paper. Artificial fibre, the process that led to rayon. Over seventy patents. And still nobody had made a lightbulb that worked. Then on the 18th of December 1878, in a lecture hall in Newcastle, he switched it on. It burned bright. Then it broke. But the idea was proven. ⚡ Six weeks later, 3rd February 1879, he demonstrated it again. This time it worked. Seven hundred people watched the room light up. Eight months before Thomas Edison. Edison heard about it. Filed a patent. Then sued Swan in America. The US Patent Office found against Edison. ✅ Edison sued Swan in Britain. The British courts found against Edison again. ✅✅ As part of the settlement, Edison was forced into a partnership with Swan. The company was called Ediswan. Swan's patents. Swan's filament design. Edison's name first. Eventually Edison bought him out. Swan was knighted in 1904. The Savoy Theatre, the first building in the world lit entirely by electricity, used his bulbs. As I watch the first couple of episodes, all I can think is how much we have grown, how we have improved, and how much love, sweat and tears have gone to this project. Andrea and I launched this project PEAK bear market, with all the odds against us. To those that are creating or want to start something but are waiting for the right moment, let me tell you something: the perfect moment DOES NOT exist. Launch your project NOW. LIFE UPDATE 🧡 I first want to say I am incredibly grateful to God and all the opportunities He has given me. For those of you that don’t know my story, I started my Bitcoin journey at the very end of 2020. Bitcoin came at such a pivotal point in my life, and I know it was God working in the background so He could connect me with incredible people that would leave a footprint in my heart forever. Shortly after, I started working at Swan 🦢. When I tell you the HONOR it is to have been with such an incredible team. Back then, when I was on team calls with , Brady Swenson, Brandon Quittem, Brekkie⚒️, Yan | swan.com and others, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude and at the same time so blessed. These people who are incredibly smart and experienced in their craft became my teachers. I was a just baby Swan starting my Bitcoin journey, but incredibly hungry and eager to learn. Later on, I got to work closely with Kristin Thompson and the rest of the Pacific Bitcoin team 🧡 When I tell you this team is magic, it feels like an understatement. Although today it is time for Swan and I to part ways, I know this is God once again working in the background for incredible things in my life. All I can say is thank you Swans for a wild and crazy journey and for being a testament that there really is a brighter future ahead for all of us. So…What will happen with Camila!? Only God knows ❤️. And that gives me all the peace I need. I have a lot of beautiful things happening in my life right now and the most beautiful family. LIFE UPDATE 🧡 I first want to say I am incredibly grateful to God and all the opportunities He has given me. For those of you that don’t know my story, I started my Bitcoin journey at the very end of 2020. Bitcoin came at such a pivotal point in my life, and I know it was God working in the background so He could connect me with incredible people that would leave a footprint in my heart forever. Shortly after, I started working at Swan 🦢. When I tell you the HONOR it is to have been with such an incredible team. Back then, when I was on team calls with , Brady Swenson, Brandon Quittem, Brekkie⚒️, Yan | swan.com and others, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude and at the same time so blessed. These people who are incredibly smart and experienced in their craft became my teachers. I was a just baby Swan starting my Bitcoin journey, but incredibly hungry and eager to learn. Later on, I got to work closely with Kristin Thompson and the rest of the Pacific Bitcoin team 🧡 When I tell you this team is magic, it feels like an understatement. Although today it is time for Swan and I to part ways, I know this is God once again working in the background for incredible things in my life. All I can say is thank you Swans for a wild and crazy journey and for being a testament that there really is a brighter future ahead for all of us. So…What will happen with Camila!? Only God knows ❤️. And that gives me all the peace I need. I have a lot of beautiful things happening in my life right now and the most beautiful family. This is a perfect moment for me to pause, breathe, reflect, and plan for what is to come! My life mission is simple. Be light and love to those around me and serve. I truly believe that as a Bitcoiner, I also have the responsibility to educate however I can. It’s in our DNA, right?
