Think of us as your self-custody wingman.

Excited for what the team has built for Swan Sovereign... includes additional protection layers with Swan Guard and the human touch of Swan Private.

@Swan Etf. And rest easy. Sorry. Not rolling the dice on on anything short of a true adult in the room.

@Swan There's a better way

Well said We can't let the exploit of one company's firmware take down the self custody dream Respond with more knowledge, not giving up sovereignty of coins

Exactly. True ownership of real on-chain Bitcoin is getting EASIER AND SAFER because so many are working on it so hard in the wake of the Coldcard exploit.

💯 there’s no words to describe the tragedy of the losses but ultimately we’ll become stronger and more resilient because of it

Could not come at a better time.

@Swan ETF. is what it is. All the small companies mess up. One by one. They all say the right stuff and have the correct intentions. Then make a crucial error and offer no refunds. I paid the cap gains and said f it. ETF. Call me a suit bitcoiner I don't care. I suck at tech. SAFETY!!

Self-Custody of your Bitcoin alone is not enough. I experienced this first hand over the weekend. Having confidence and comfort in your ability to use and maintain your Bitcoin wallet setup is crucial to maintain. Sovereign is how we help you get there.

Back to work

@Swan This is great

Hmmmmmmmmmmm . . . .

Hiring? I’m trying to help everyone I know who’s trying to either migrate to secure self custody or set up an appropriate multi sig depending on their level of comfort and trust. Unfortunately, I just don’t know that many people who are interested in or have bitcoin

Honest question - is this super necessary if one has a ledger cold storage wallet for example?

Assisted self-custody isn't necessary for all, but it's already the preferred solution for more than 1000 Swan clients.

Got you. That's cool, thanks.

@CitizenBitcoin Sovereign Strong 💪 excited to see the incredible Private team leading the way.

A custody solution tailored to each person’s needs

@CasaHODL is non KYC is Swan also?

@Swan Likewise with @xPortalApp too mate.

The solution seems open to vendor attacks as it's using 2 Jades. How is that problem mitigated?

Good work.

I don’t know man. Coming from cold storage self custody to full on KYC/custodian on video with a side kick guy. I come from before seed phrases. Moving a mouse on the screen for entropy. Core was core. That was our wallet. It’s hard to see where we are now.

1) Core can still be your wallet today 2) Video? Not required for Swan Sovereign 3) real Ownership is the #1 goal for most. Very few expect to live anonymously, fully invisible to the panopticon.

Very few expect to live anonymously because there are no options. But give them the option and they will.

Bitcoin is the lynchpin AND the bulwark

So we have to trust you instead of the cold card crew? Hmmm

USA only?

Ping and we'll let you know if it's available in your region 🙏

👍

Thanks for helping Cory. I'm proud to be a Swan customer.

Great way to keep custody without going through a new rabbit hole by yourself

I trust you completely you androgynous strange person

Thank you @Swan @CorySwan for taking action on self-custody.

ISSUE IS IT TOOK SEVERAL YEARS FOR THE COLDCARD HIDDEN CODE TO BE EXPOSED ALL THESE YEARS AND NOT ONE BITCOINER FOUND IT THESE SAME BITCOINERS WHO CODE FOR LIFE ALL MISSED IT WHAT WALLET TODAY HAS HIDDEN CODE THAT WON’T BE EXPOSED UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE #BITCOIN #BTC $BTC #CRYPTO

I’m moving to IBIT until the dust settles. Something tells me coldcard isn’t going to be the only cold storage service with broken key infrastructure

What is the mechanism? Is this a multisig setup? It's unclear. What if the person loses the keys? Do you have a copy? Or is it a handholding through self custody and $300/yr for this?
