Follow-up on sole/ground interaction: The sole angle is a key design lever that controls how the club sits. -Raise the sole, club falls open -Lower it (demo'd by tape in vid), club sits closed This often compounds the closed/open face when you make an adapter adjustment.

I love a training aid and for me the more simple it is the better. Interesting to see Wyndham Clark managing his wrist angles using a coat hanger! A great one to copy if you struggle with a club face that’s too open or closed

Getting in the links golf, in preparation for Genesis Scottish Open and The Open and The Senior Open over the next three weeks. A few swings from Portmarnock Golf Club yesterday. It was in unbelievable condition. Looks like the rough is up on links courses this year.

Wanna make more putts? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Try this. Many good putters put their lead hand on their lead leg and aim the club and the face with their right hand. This ensures the club is square. They then setup around that square club and make a reassured stroke knowing it’s square. Try it, many do it, not many notice they do it.

Out of the bunker, choking down on the club can be a tremendous help, especially when the ball sits in a tight lie or when you want more control over the strike. It shortens the swing arc, keeps the hands steady, and helps you deliver the clubhead precisely where it needs to enter the sand. GP #PXGTroops

Kerry Carpenter has hit 83 HR’s since making his debut in 2022… Yordan Alvarez has hit 135 HR’s in that same time frame… Yordan hits using an open kinetic chain (femur moves on the pelvis)… Kerry hits using a closed kinetic chain (pelvis moves on the femur)…. An open kinetic chain is the “high level pattern” used by “all of the greats”. None of them ever used a closed kinetic chain like Kerry uses….. If you don’t believe that just compare video of their lead hip throughout the swinging motion Watch how different their pelvis moves when they launch their swing.

A cool feature of the Disclosure component is that it uses the hidden=until-found attribute so you can still search the content while it is closed with ctrl+F (currently supported in Chrome). The disclosure will automatically open when content is found inside! 😲

Looks like the club are going to attempt to make the ground look fuller than it actually is tomorrow by only allowing you to buy tickets that are visible on the TV cameras. Tickets at the rear of all the upper stands are not available to buy.
