This never gets old seeing Shane playing My Hero with the FF. Not a whole lot of special moments that happen in rock music but this is one of them. Please keep sharing.

Happy Father's Day! Here's Shane Hawkins, son of Taylor Hawkins with Foo Fighters on drums performing "My Hero" at his father's tribute concert. Played with the rage of a 16 year old boy who lost his father. Inspiring and heartbreaking.

Dave Grohl wrote “My Hero” for the Foo Fighters. And in 2022, Taylor Hawkins’ son Shane played it back to him on drums at his father’s tribute concert. That is not a performance. That is a son saying goodbye.
