What is the stride? It isn’t a front leg move. It’s the ball of the rear femur moving forward a few inches.

It’s having a strong column, rear column. You have to learn how to create the stretch. I have video of my trying my first time. Man was that ugly. You should let the body establish the rear column. You move back creating force through the foot into the ground. Back/down=forward.
