It’s to the point where guys are scared to hit the QB lol

If he tackles QB “with full weight”, it is a personal foul penalty for 15 yards (auto 1st down). NFL gotta bring back “in the grasp” penalty AND create penalty for fake sliding (15 yard dead ball flag, spot foul). Protect QB AND deny qb fakes/needless defense hits in qb.

Yup. If it’s two-hand touch for QBs, then that MFer was down.

So terrible. If I was coaching defense I'd say "Listen guys, You're going to get the Roughing call. I don't care. If the ball is in the QB's hand make each hit count. Don't lay off. We'll eat 15 yards."

When I saw it live @ the game I couldn't believe it, he legit just gave up on the play. I was dumbfounded, I don't know if he was worried about the flag taking him to the ground or if he thought Dak threw it. Devin Lloyd was benched a few weeks ago for plays like this.
