Billionaire drops some very concerning news about America’s ability to arm Ukraine. Once Joe Rogan heard this, he was in full agreement with Palmer Luckey that there’s a serious problem. “That’s crazy,” he said. Luckey revealed: “We can’t even give [Ukraine] what they’re asking for, even if we want to give it to them, because we DON’T HAVE enough to even cover ourselves.” “We can’t just give them all of our Patriot missiles. We can’t give them even purely defensive tools to protect their capital because we don’t make enough of them. We don’t have enough of them. They’re too expensive. That’s crazy to me,” Luckey lamented. He then proposed an idea with a memorable ring to it that might get a lot of American citizens on board: “So I think the best way for the United States to contribute to world stability, again, STOP being the world police, START being the world gun store, and get serious about it. “Instead of saying, ‘Well, it’s okay that we kind of are a crappy gun store because we’re gonna come and save your ass when shit hits the fan,’ we need to say, ‘No, no, no. We’re gonna give everything you need to fight for your own freedom. Look, you’re our friend. You’re our ally. We’ll give you everything you need. We’ll give you support. We’ll give you intelligence. But we’re not gonna fight your wars for you.’ “Because I don’t think the American people have it in us to go do another two decades of adventures in the Middle East or adventures in Europe or adventures in Asia. We don’t have it in us.”

Yunjin wrote an emotional message on what she hopes everyone can get out of ‘CELEBRATION’: “When we made this, the creature in our story was something specific to us. He was a version of ourselves that we rejected. The part that we want to hide. The shame we carried, but I think the creature can be a lot of things. He is whatever piece of you the world has told you to be ashamed of. He can be whatever you’ve been running from because you couldn’t bear to look at it. For some people, that might be internalized fear. The part of yourself you were taught to hate; before you even understood what it was. For some it’s trauma you’ve never spoken out loud. For some it can be body dysmorphia. The way you can’t look in a mirror without flinching. For some it’s shame about your family. About your past mistakes. Your desires. Your difference. Whatever it is, we all have a creature. We all have a part of ourselves we’ve kept locked outside the door because we’re afraid of what it would mean to let it in. What I want to say with this album, with this song is you don’t have to keep running. You can turn around. You can open the door, and when you do, whether it’s that’s with a friend, with someone you love, or even just by yourself, in the mirror, the thing you’ve always been afraid of, it’s a part of you. That has been waiting this whole time to be met. We hope this song finds the people that need it. We hope it reaches whoever is sitting outside their own door scared to go in. We hope it reminds them that the bravest thing isn’t pretending the creature isn’t there. It’s showing up with your own scars saying “me too. Let me in. Let’s celebrate together”.

Grateful for the outpouring the past few days. I can’t tell you how motivating it is to have people care so much about Arc. The encouragement, the criticism, the confusion. Took it all in <3 As a thank you, I’d like to speak more plainly about what’s happening and why – we owe it to you: 1. Every person who joined or invested in our company did so to build products beloved by hundreds of millions of people. “We want to be to the browser what the iPhone was to the cellphone” has been our rallying cry since Day One. We knew chance of success was low but the ambition made us leap out of bed every morning. 2. Arc is beloved, popular, and growing (4x daily actives YoY). But it’s now clear that what most people love about the product *is also* what will prevent it from reaching hundreds of millions of people in our target demographic (people who spend hours in their browsers each day for their livelihood). Arc is a niche browser, even if we did not intend for it to be so. 3. Luckily, we architected this company – from company name to investors and technical architecture – to support multiple products since Day One. See Arc Search. Our favorite brands have multiple product lines in the same category too (Apple, Nike, Disney). Hence our realization: why keep trying to make Arc something it is not? Nobody who loved Arc wanted Arc Max. Arc members just want it to be more stable, secure, and performant. “Let’s just do that!” 4. With Arc as our beloved but niche browser #1, we asked ourselves a simple question: if we founded the company TODAY (in 2024), with everything that we know, what would the browser of the future look like for hundreds of millions of people? Let’s go build *that* product, alongside Arc. A second browser that is easier to use, more focused, and more powerful. All in order to live up to our founding mission (#1 above). 5. Yet none of this would’ve happened if it weren’t for the timing (market timing is most underrated startup ingredient). Mark my words: the Web is going to dramatically change in 2025 – much more than we all appreciate. Crazy new AI & computer-use models are incoming. I promise you that new browsers will be the story of 2025 (The Browser Company aside). Why? The browser layer is the obvious epicenter of AI & Agents because of its unique context, cookies, & apps. 6. To build a breakthrough consumer product (#1) – like truly breakthrough – you need a catalyzing innovation or technology. AI will be that for the next era of browsers, whether we win or someone else does. So why us (other than Arc is niche)? Our belief is that not only do you need the browser layer to win, but “the hard part” is nailing the interface, the interactions, the storytelling. That’s our bread & butter. That’s the expertise of our team. Now you can see how these puzzle pieces fit together… We built something people love (in Arc) and we intend to stick by it. But we also won’t lose sight of why our team poured so much blood, sweat and tears over the past 4 years into this company: the mission to build a new interface to the internet used by hundreds of millions of people every day. It truly feels like the moment we were waiting for is here and we won’t miss it. Everything we’ve done up until this point was for this type of window, even if we couldn’t have predicted it would play out exactly this way. We’re hopeful that more of you will understand why we’re building this second product soon. I feel confident you will once we can show you more of what we’re dreaming up, and once more of the things we’ve heard and seen in the industry reveal themselves soon. Candidly, we wanted to wait on this announcement but random stuff was leaking and it seemed wrong for you to hear from anyone except us first. We’ve always been at our best when we’re open & honest. We’ll continue to be. Finally, THANK YOU, again, for the love & tough love. We don’t take it for granted. We can’t wait to ship, ship, ship in early 2025!

For 60 years every computer ever built did the same thing. Stored information and retrieved it on demand. Jensen Huang just explained why that era is over and what replaces it. His framing was the clearest I have ever heard. Think about everything a computer has ever done for you. You wrote a document, you saved it to a file. You took a photo, it saved to a file. You recorded music, it saved to a file. When you wanted it back, you retrieved it from a disc. That is it. That is 60 years of computing. Store and retrieve. He pointed out something hiding in plain sight. We call them data centers. Not computer centers. Because we were not really computing anything meaningful. We were storing data that you retrieved based on what you tapped on your phone. Then he explained what changed. Every time you give AI a prompt today, the response is produced originally in real time. It is not retrieved from storage. It is generated fresh based on your specific context, your specific question, your specific moment. What you see is completely different from what anyone else sees because it was made for you. Jensen said every pixel you see, every word you read, every video you watch in the future will be originally generated. Not retrieved. 60 years of computing was about building better storage and faster retrieval. The entire paradigm flipped overnight. He said this simply: we went from a retrieval industry to a generation industry. And the machines that generate intelligence are what Nvidia builds. The buildings used to be called data centers because they stored data. Nobody has renamed them yet. But the job description changed completely.
