I am 3rd generation Irish immigrant and proud to be a scouser from Liverpool! I came from poverty and I am proud because that made me the man I am today!! I chose to change my life and break the chain of poverty in my family and I did it because I never gave up and I believed everyday even when I had no money I would become wealthy! I worked 18 hours a day 7 days a week for all my adult life so my children would never have to experience what I did and I made it! If I can make it so can you no matter the colour of your skin or where you are from you can do it if you don’t give up!

I have to admit that there were many times when I would watch a concert and think to myself, “One day, I want to be on that stage and perform for everyone.” And today, that day has come. It’s a strange feeling. It’s like a dream I’ve been chasing since I was a child. When the day comes that it actually happens, it’s such a strange feeling because I don’t even know how to explain it to the people in front of me. But one thing I do know is that I feel incredibly lucky to have everyone here watching me. This is a profession, something I never thought I would actually do. Honestly, I always thought it would just be a dream because I’ve always tried to live in the real world. I knew that the chance to have an opportunity like this in the real world is… 00000000,1% of the population. So I focused on studying. I planned out my life what I wanted to do, how I would live and this was just a hobby. My friends know me well; I told them this back in my first year of university. As a kid, I was in the Boy Scouts for 6 years. My dad was the troop master and I remember the other boys and the parents always being weird with me because of how "gay" or “effeminate" I was. My parents always stood beside me and protected me when it came to who I was or my self expression. I credit them with the confidence that I have today and l am so lucky and appreciative to them.
