For All Those Who Died

I have a 1st pressing vinyl of BATHORY Blood Fire Death!

I like how the drummer figured out he can play a different beat in the last 20 seconds. Killer song still.

That's the whole point, I think. "How heavy can I make a song... with only a single riff and a single drumbeat in it?" And the answer is "quite". Creates a kind of trancelike vibe. Inquisition is another band that does this sort of thing all the time.

I think you're 100% correct and it definitely works, definitely trancelike, chugging along like a train, reminds me of the chorus beat of Coven's seminal classic Iron Dick, which for some reason I think you have covered in your own seminal classic Metal Mythos series.

I swear I remember you using this song in one of your reviews once, but I can't remember which one

Bloodborne

The Blood Fire Death tribute to Quorthon was incredible! They closed out with the title track from this album and it was scorching. In the literal sense too since they busted out the pyro for it!

Awesome. Jonas Åkerlund the earlier drummer from 83-84 was amazing.

I gotta go with the title track. What happens at the climax of the song is EPIC.

Mine too. Love that song.

A track that takes new meaning with every year that goes by in my life. Here's to all the friends who aren't here anymore 🍻

Absolutely legendary!

It's rare to get an album that is peak in two genres. This is one of those rare gems.

Decent, But I always preferred Under the Sign of the Black Mark.

That is a such great album. I don’t like metal all that much but Bathory and Bolt Thrower are two of my favorite bands.

You gunna rant about Nightwish at all or is that not your jam?

Classic album!🤘

The Wild Hint rides on…

Amen!

Groomer fist thought you were dead till this popped up on my feed
