You get caught cheating and rather say it’s kind of a minor thing you curse the other guy out at the top of your lungs on worldwide television, only to be caught by a camera You didn’t expect to be there. He was adjudged to have broken a rule and not called himself as a sportsman should. The world saw and heard his reaction and discourtesy and there is no escaping that.

Getting to the podium by cheating and smiling about it from ear to ear is and should never be the heart of an athlete.

Cheat - don’t apologize - act cocky - be forgotten

People are pointing their fingers at a player that was cheating in a sport that is based on integrity, lying instead of honesty, embarrassing himself with arrogance instead of showing humility. If you want to celebrate winning by cheating, crack on. The spirit of the sport of curling lost something this Winter Olympics.

There’s literal video footage of both the women’s AND the men’s teams cheating by double touching. It’s undeniable, and the way that curling is self-policed and unable to have a professional judge look back at the replay footage to be sure everything was legal is ridiculous.

Too bad your hockey teams could not figure out a way to cheat.
