Black Flag was so good. I truly got upset every time the game took me out of the simulation for that gay AC crap.

So they decided modernize Sid Meier's Pirates without thinking twice that Black Flag 2 could have been a game.

I love how it took them a decade to give us a botched version of the best AC game's primary gimmick. They dragged their feet for so long only to end up making garbage.

What a great comparison. I really need to go back and play that game. I hope they re-release it. It clearly struck a chord with gamers for it to be spun off in an attempted entirely new game.

I didn’t realize it, but apparently this was supposed to be the multiplayer expansion for Black Flag, but it was mismanaged into development hell and only kept afloat by the Singapore government. So. Ubisoft.
