My friend and I stopped by The Lodge at Gulf State Park recently because I wanted to see the new pool area they added. The Lodge is a Hilton beachfront resort located inside Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama. With beautiful Gulf views and plenty of space to relax, this is easily one of the prettiest pool areas I’ve come across along the Gulf Coast. This is not a sponsored post. When I say “beans and rice, rice and beans,” I don’t actually mean only eat rice and beans. What it represents is so much more than a low grocery bill. It’s about short-term sacrifice for the long-term win. You can do anything for a few months, even a few years to set yourself up for a lifetime of success. And people are doing it every day, everywhere. The stuff I talk about is not hard to understand. It’s very hard to actually go and do it. You’ve got to decide you’re going to DO it. Day in and day out, you’ve drawn a line in the sand, and you are NOT going back. No more excuses. You’re taking control of your actions and your life. You’re ready to make your money work for YOU, not the other way around. Are you ready to change your life?

UPDATE ABOUT THE JERSEY SITUATION. Earlier today, Abazz sent out 10 jerseys across different locations. Ilorin, Ogun, Lagos, Abuja, and Aba. So far, two recipients in Lagos have received theirs and reached out to me with concerns about the quality of the jerseys. At first, I didn’t believe it, but after seeing the videos, I understood why they felt that way. You just have to see the pictures and videos too. I immediately contacted Abazz to raise this, and he explained that what was sent was the “player’s version.” However, in one of the conversations I saw, a recipient requested to return the jersey, and Abazz responded by asking him to keep it while promising to send another jersey of his choice. Any club. Thankfully, others are yet to receive theirs, so this can still be properly addressed before more deliveries are completed. At this point, with more than one person reporting the same issue, it’s important to take it seriously and not treat it as a mistake. For me, this is not about dragging anyone or making noise over jerseys. It’s about integrity. It’s about trust. It’s about doing things the right way, especially when people are involved. I will continue to follow up on this to ensure that everyone who was promised a jersey gets something they are genuinely happy with. We all deserve fairness. At 54, here’s something I think about a lot: The good old days don’t feel like it at the time. It feels more like struggle. For those asking about sizes, I went for a Large in the shirt. I tried the medium on and the carlsberg sponsor felt like it was a wrap around my chest. So I wouldn’t say it’s got that 90s ‘baggy’ feel to it. Large was more comfortable. FYI I went a medium in the sweatshirt. That was more fitting but still a little baggy.

I have chosen to drive my Tesla on FSD multiple times instead of flying. In the past year, I’ve done multiple ~20-hour days driving continuously on FSD, covering over 1,000 miles daily without ever needing to touch the steering wheel. We just took a trip from Toronto to Nashville as well. It was 900 miles one way, which we completed in a single day (18 hours), and it was way more economical (and fun) than flying. Before that, I did Toronto to Austin, TX (3,200 miles round trip) TWICE in July and November — all in my Model 3 Performance. Would I attempt these drives without FSD? No way. I literally push a button on the screen, and the car handles all the charging stops, traffic, navigation, and everything. It’s so easy. If you’re an avid road tripper, there’s no better car to do it in than a Tesla.

On my way to Monash Education on a very cold and foggy winter morning from Cranbourne, Australia. Returning to the Maldives wasn’t a bad decision, but believing I could truly make a difference in this country is a mistake I deeply regret. I call upon all Maldivians out there, studying and dreaming of doing big things, to never return to this country.
