So many people tagged me yesterday about this young man who had made a placard with my name at Archives. Today while I was in the CBD on official duty. I found him still standing at the same spot with the same placard and took time to engage him in a conversation. I asked him why he chose that approach, especially knowing that some people might misunderstand his intentions or view it negatively. He honestly told me that he chose that direction because he understands Kenyans controversy trends fast, and he believed it was the quickest way to get his message to reach me. He clarified that he is a straight young man with a girlfriend and simply wanted an opportunity to speak to me and see how his life could change. When I asked how I could help, he humbly said he only wished for two things: to take him and his girlfriend out for a Valentine’s dinner and, more importantly, to enroll in college to pursue an ICT course and build his future. His honesty and determination touched me. I promised to support his education, and today I took him to ICS College for sponsorship. I’m happy to share that he will now be enrolled and given a chance to pursue his dream in ICT. Sometimes all someone needs is not money, not fame just an opportunity and someone who believes in them.

in a recent TMZ interview, Lil Durk took the time to talk about his journey in rehab for his drug problems, wanting to help the struggling youth in Chicago, and about being a better role model/leader for the people who look up to him. “I really knew what I wanted… I wanted better, I wanted to be a better man, a better father, a better leader.” “[Rehab] helped a lot. Thinking clear, my main goal is peace” He also talked about what lead him to seek help, and he said he was battling his addiction to hard drugs, which took over his life. “[the drugs] dont make me, you know what im sayin?” Durk also puts an emphasis on wanting to break stigmas around rehab and getting help for mental health issues, which I think is very much needed in this day and age. The interview wraps up with Durk talking about wanting to build a rehabilitation center in Chicago to help the inner city youth by working with the mayor and governor. Buster Gets His Happy Ending 🥹🐶🥰🙏 Buster was on a chain for years on cold concrete. We were told it was because he was vicious and dangerous. It turns out he was the complete opposite. He only knew love and his fav thing to do was sniff the flowers. The first part of his long recovery was his health… 👂 He had to have an ear removed as it had been left for so long 🫁 He could hardly walk 10 yards as he was so unfit. We were able to build his stamina up 🧫 He had a bad fungal infection all over. It took lots of care and bathing to fix 🥴 Buster started having epileptic fits. It was vital he had an owner who could help him with his medicine and care. He found that owner in Kitty who came all the way to visit him. To say they fell in love would be an understatement. She takes him on hikes, he goes to work with her as a tennis coach and every video I see he is sleeping in her bed with a big stuffed toy. Although his medical history is complicated he is well looked after now and proves that you should never give up in life. There is always hope. I’ve never met a friendlier or more gentle dog in my whole life than Buster. He deserves this. Well done to Buster and Kitty 🥰🙏
