For example, bringing the Al-Qaeda Syrian President to be honored in the Oval Office on the 250th Anniversary of the Marines and the day before Veterans Day is something I am 100% against. That in no way is America First and sadly is Veterans last.

Instead, too many veterans are stuck waiting for care while politicians put themselves first. Men and women who served this country should never have to fight their own government for the benefits they earned. Right here in Boston, Mayor Michelle Wu gave herself a raise while cutting benefits for veterans. That’s not leadership. That’s disgraceful. As we head into Memorial Day, remember this: veterans kept their word to America. It’s time politicians start keeping theirs.
