ETB is rolling over in his grave. The LDS Church has proudly announced they are “strategic partners” with the satanic UN Agenda anti family depopulation replacement migration global communism. It’s not just the Dems it’s the entire LDS Leadership.

Except for Benson is not the prophet in 2026. By modern lds standard, his advice doesn’t apply anymore. This was advice for the 80s. Apparantly.

One day it would be nice to vote Republican again, but not until the party steps away from the Trump worship and obeisance. Until then I must vote against the Republican party except when it might give more extreme right wing people power. In Idaho it is a big concern.

I'm going to vote Democrat and then go worship Satan to round out the evening.

Between the two parties, neither party truly embraces the principles of our foundational American principles and civic virtues, classic liberalism. The Republican party was a new Whig party, which had replaced the Federalist party. They were classic conservatives, akin to the principles that we fought our Revolutionary War against. The Democratic party has long since deviated from its roots of classic liberalism, and now is headed headlong into socialism. However, since the Progressive Era, both parties have been adopting socialist principles. They may fight over specific issues, but they both promote and maintain a strong central government and banking system. The two party system is just a way for the great and petty tyrants to divide and rule over the People. Voting for either party is not going to restore our foundational American principles and civic virtues. No, that would destroy their avenue to obtain further power and to get gain. That is not in the interests of the secret combinations that have taken our high places and who control our courts. LDS who are considering on voting for either party line should do more to familiarize themselves with the Book of Mormon pride cycle over the next voting cycle.

Ezra Benson was a senile old man who couldn’t even give you a definition of what he believed communism was. He is a bad joke. It’s hilarious you have to trot him out every election season to make yourselves feel good about your decisions.

He was a radical, whose damage the church is still struggling to repair. He used the pulpit to push his deranged views. He abused his authority. No one should be silly enough to believe otherwise.

Notice the podium? It was given at BYU where he shared his opinions on many subjects. He was not allowed to speak on this subject as an official statement after he did it in general conference in the early 60's. He was reprimanded by Pres. Hugh B. Brown, of the First Presidency.

I can sort of understand how faithful members can vote Democrat. There are many that do. I know them and they are good people. It puzzles me how, but it's true. However no faithful member could support socialism/communism. That duo is contrary to God's will in every conceivable way. It seeks to undermine and supplant faith in god by substituting government for god. It sacrifices freedom on the altar of ideology. We already fought a war of sorts over this and lost a third part of God's children over it. It seems that war continues still.

He not only loved America but he saw the evil slowly coming in and removing the good and installing all the bad in America Today.

He’s talking about communism. In no way do democrats espouse communist beliefs, not even democratic socialists you’re so afraid of espouse communist beliefs. Communism is not the same thing as socialism, not even close.

Should a non-Mormon really tell Mormons who they can and can’t vote for? Especially using material contradicted by more recent Q15 commentary?
