But I’ve seen children do these exact same acts: screaming nonstop the moment they wake up, having weird nightmares they can’t shake off, suddenly destroying other people’s things and hitting kids at school without any kind of trigger. You know what caused it? Brain damage from the mom using drugs and alcohol when she was pregnant. And rarely will pediatricians send children to specialists to perform the tests necessary to diagnose such brain damage. They just say it’s emotional/behavioral, and give the kids psychiatric meds.🤦‍♀️ Advocate for your children…especially dads who are in denial about who they married or made babies with!!
