🚨#BREAKING: Tyjuan Crenshaw, a man who works with special needs children, saw a young man being BEATEN IN THE STREET. He stepped in and saved the man and chased the attacker off... ...AND THE POLICE ARRESTED HIM FOR IT He was charged with assault. Tyjuan is a MANDATORY REPORTER because he works with special needs kids. He is LEGALLY REQUIRED to step in when he sees a vulnerable person being abused. Crenshaw says he saw a man beating a vulnerable young man on Baylor's Lane in Petersburg, Virginia. In his words: "He was beating the hell out of him. After he dropped, he hit him across his head five more times." So Crenshaw stepped in. He says the man told him to mind his own business... then went and got a dog to sic on him. He stood his ground and protected the man until the police got there. When the police showed up, they arrested CRENSHAW. Charged him with assault and listed the man he was trying to stop as the VICTIM!!! But here's the kicker. TWO DAYS LATER, police arrested that same man, Harold Parker, and charged him with ABUSE AND NEGLECT OF AN INCAPACITATED ADULT. The exact thing Crenshaw said he was trying to stop! So the man who stepped in to protect the vulnerable is facing charges. When asked if he would do anything different, Crenshaw said: "If I had to do it all over, I'd do it again!"

Once you understand this truth as an owner … you and your employees can both win ❤️❤️❤️‼️ pass this onto a business owner … When I was a kid my dad used to talk about being upset about his employees not working as hard as him. Even as a 16-year-old I turned to my father and told him, "Well they will never work as hard as you if they don't own the business." This is a lost understanding among so many owners. We must not have the audacity or the selfishness to expect this. We must work for them once we work for them and understand what they want, whether it's money or vacation time or status or a bigger title. Once we work for them they will work for us.

This man has his American Bully dog at a park. The dog was sitting in a sit/stay training excercise. He’s had extensive training. He did have a leash on but his owner obviously didn’t have the leash in his hand, part of his continued training. As the owner walks back to him, a gentleman comes up and asks him to please put him on a leash and to hold the leash because there is a lot of distractions at the park. The owner replies “that is part of training.” The owner said “If I thought there was even a small chance he would harm a kid or react the wrong way, I wouldn't put him in that position. This isn't luck. This is hours and hours of real world training, consistency, and building him up around distractions the right way….. Breeds like American Bullies and similar dogs get judged before people even see them work, but this is what they're really about with the right leadership. Loyal, stable, and solid companions.” Some people said the gentleman who approached the owner was putting his own insecurities on a very well mannered dog. He had instant judgement. Others at the park complimented the owner on how well behaved his dog was. What a good boy that dog was. ❤️ Would you be upset if you were at the park with your child and saw this dog sitting there with his owner about 50 yards away? Do you think the owner was irresponsible? Do you think the gentleman had a right to be concerned and a right to remind the owner that there was a lot going on?

The homeowner posted a video of a lost dog on social media. It’s been around for about a week and has been drinking out of their swimming pool. The owner sees the video and goes to their house to get the dog. The homeowner told them where they last saw the dog, that’s when the owners of the dog started berating the homeowner for not catching and restraining the dog for them. There’s not much to argue against a building in 7A or with a vacate order and the need to assist tenants quickly. The real rub here is the inclusion of broken down elevators, which in many RS buildings can only have 1 elevator due to their age. And then you have to consider nearly every elevator stoppage is tenant caused — doesn’t mean intentional but ask any property owner and they’ve all had the scenario of kids jumping up & down and triggering the elevator’s safety mode. Or someone opening the doors too soon and breaking the interlock. Now when these scenarios happen the city has created an automatic trigger to file suit on a property owner for being … negligent? I think a lot of the backlash women have to being asked out is that they take it as a judgment on them if they deem the guy “on their level” This has been magnified with Gen Z insecurity, because they don’t have as much ability to feel confident without the approval of others

Why would Ald. Michelle Harris object to a teen event sponsored by the owner of the Avalon Regal Theater? Did Ms. Harris weaponize CPD to shut down this event? Is Ms. Harris weaponizing the City Law Dept. against the owner of the theater? It appears she is. You see, by prohibiting use of theater — which is privately owned and undergoing substantial renovations — Harris could have the property designated "troubled." If the theater is labeled "troubled," the city could order the owner to vacate the property, take possession, and sell it to preferred RFP responder. What Harris is doing to the owner of the Avalon Theater is unconscionable. If the owner is allowed to proceed with restoring the building, it could return as a cultural attraction for the South Side and help bring about a revival in a luckless neighborhood. We want urban renewal, right? Aren't aldermen obligated to serve the best interests of residents and business owners in their ward? So what is the problem, Alderman Harris?
