We don’t even get these benefits with our own tax dollars that we’ve been paying for most of our lives if not our whole lives, so why should outside non-citizens be getting these kind of benefits when most people are struggling just to put food on the table and pay their bills? Prof Fikeni, on the matter of how unseriously our leaders and institutions deal with the issue of the appointments of Support Staff* to Political Principals. These people have very important roles, but we are not yet serious about who they are, their backgrounds and suitability for the roles. It’s still dealt with on just…vibes. He suggests there’s a measure of professionalisation needed, and, in general, I agree.

Our activists were the first in the history of Ukraine to start cleaning up parks in their cities. These parks had been covered with trash for decades. For decades, nobody cared about it. Our guys cleaned up these parks, doing it completely free of charge. It was a unified impulse the likes of which Ukraine had never seen before, and has not seen since. We were restoring the areas where we lived. The cities were becoming cleaner. People did it with pleasure. This is another crime of our party.

On Wednesday, they hijacked Big Ben and turned it into a billboard for their genocidal slogan. Tonight they shut down Tower Bridge. We have had people on our streets holding antisemitic placards and glorifying the most barbaric of terrorists. They then moved on to intimidating our lawmakers and disrupting the lives of the public. Now they are making their mark on our national landmarks. When will we say enough? When will this count as sufficient “disruption to the life of the community” for Sir Mark Rowley to invoke his powers to ban this?
