For people curious, this is part of my process! I prefer having a more elaborate sketch so I can focus more on details and color later on The bulk of the shading is one singular multiply layer

Most of it being a multiply layer is insane (/pos) 😭 I'm really curious though how would you do hair that has gradients? I always want to do the paintover kind of shading but most of my OCs have gradients lmao it makes it difficult just laying down blocks of shadows </3

In the base colors, the gradient would be its on layer. I select that part and adjust the hue, saturation and whatnot till I get a color I like! See the qrt I don't have confidence to get things right the first try to paint, that's why I prefer it this way

I apologize for the question, but what size canvas do you use for drawings like that, and is that the CSP g-pen brush for the lineart? I've been trying to adapt a style similar to what you create, but my sizes and brushes always seem a bit off. thanks! beautiful work :)

I draw in A4 format at 350 dpi! As for the pen is the default g pen, yes! And thank you 💜

I can't paint for dear life ToT I only do it on small objects. I need to tweak things a lot to get a nice result and painting won't let me have that level of control to edit things And thank you!!! I like vibrant color 👉👈
