This game more than any desperately needs a demo to help convince the masses.

The only thing I’ll say about this comparison is SC had high lows and unblockables in it/strings. After watching the gameplay I didn’t really see that. If fact it looks like the other aspect of sc where you do your string and you can deflect/guard impact them aka strike back.

Exactly or you can use the example of Dragon Ball Budokai 3= anime fighter to any tenkaichi series=Arena fighter. I usually look at Arena fighters as fighting games where you are locked face to face with your opponent and got freedom of movement and no punch or kick buttons etc

not all arean fighters "have no punch or kick" butons. tho. and some ties different buttons/directions to access the lows. I'm remaking this clip, I made it around 2018-2019
