I think it also had to do with Console players being locked in at 90 FOV

Another great example of a gun that was rewarding to shoot if you could master the recoil was the EM2 from Caldera era Warzone

AK and Oden were more recoil too

Yes, and got virtually no usage beyond a gimmick content weapon Amax was one of the higher recoils and still got used, for the vast majority, any more, and they will just switch to a more accurate one EM2 and C58 were a couple others with more that still hot used

Amax as the mid-to-long range meta was peak WZ. That was the period where the game was at its height.

Loved the AMAX meta in WZ1. Proper KBM gun 💪
