for such case where the request is almost instant ( <100ms ), jumping directly to a `success state` is much more cleaner than adding artificial delay imo. imo loading states are generally ambiguous and means nothing without a proper `success state`.

While countries are upgrading from four-wheeler ambulances to air ambulances, our respected REVENUE Minister Nirmala Sitharaman ji and the Government are busy promoting bike ambulances, a move that will only worsen traffic issues and delay critical treatment. Even State Bank of India should know better than to fund such a misguided initiative. This is what happens when the goal is PR, not public safety.

This morning, we took our Maths Evangelism to Federal Girls’ College Owerri. There is a revolution going on in Imo State. The schools and children there are taking it to another level. We’ve noticed that lots of schools are now setting up Maths Clubs to prepare members for the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad. It’s a concept I love, and I would recommend that schools in other states adopt the same. The future will be exciting and entertaining.

Here's a great example of a state legislative leader understanding where the future of finance is headed, and why states have to get the policies right. Kudos to Maryland Delegate Delegate Adrian Boafo for making the case that staking should be allowed in MD - and everywhere. Right now, 46 states allow staking services to operate. Maryland's current ban is costing Coinbase 🛡️ users in the state at least $9M in staking rewards. Leaders like Delegate Boafo understand that sensible pro-innovation policies set clear, predictable rules that protect consumers and attract investment and business to the states that provide them.

American Muslim scholar, Hamza Yusuf co-founder of the Zaytuna College declares that “the whole concept of an ‘Islamic state’ is a fantasy in the minds of the modern Islamists” & confirms that the vast majority of Muslim states in history were “secular” (see above post for what he means by ‘secular’). As I recently argued in my Oxford Union debate - which we won - the reading into Islamic sources of the modern idea of a unitary legal ‘state’ (dawlah) over all of society, is an anachronism. It is the retrospective imposition of the European Westphalian nation-state concept onto traditional Islamic sources. The word ‘state’ (dawlah) is entirely absent from *all* Islamic sources of Shariah. As is the word ‘law’ (Qānūn) and as is the word ‘constitution’ (Distūr). It is thus impossible for the term ‘Islamic State’ to be anything other than a modernist reading. And Shariah is not a ‘law’ (the concept of unitary legal system did not exist) so there is no such thing as ‘Sharia law’. There is only Shariah (which means ‘the way’). Islam did not define any fixed notion of state, and hence the matter is left to the people to adopt within Islamic parameters. Here is my recent 10 minute Oxford Union debate speech which explains further:

November 10, 2023 Press Statement Imo Guber: Anyanwu Not Deterred, Set for Victory Despite APC Nigeria’s Fake Video - Official PDP Nigeria …Demands INEC Nigeria to Disqualify APC, Uzodimma The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asserts that its candidate in the Saturday, November 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo State, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, is not deterred but set for victory despite the malicious fake video reportedly produced and circulated by Governor Hope Uzodimma and the All Progressives Congress (APC) against him. The PDP describes as barbaric and shameful that the APC candidate, Governor Hope Uzodimma could descend so low to allegedly sponsor a fake video against the PDP candidate in a bid to mislead the people of Imo State. The fake video, typical of “419” inclination only goes to confirm that Governor Uzodimma is in mortal fear of the popularity of the PDP candidate, Senator Anyanwu and had to resort to last minute underhand method in a failed attempt to get Senator Anyanwu out of the way. What is even more alarming is that the makers of this fake video are so criminally minded as to attempt to make Nigerians believe that it was a news production of the TVC. Our Party commends the courage of the management of TVC in immediately disclaiming and condemning the fraudulent use of TVC name, logo and inscription in an attempt to deceive the people of Imo State and ascribe legitimacy to the fake video.
