For the 100th time today, it's not time travel 💀

He LITERALLY says in the same interview that if Ashoka did go back with Ezra, it would be a whole mess, acknowledge that time travel is possible. I swear y’all never watch things in full length. Just take what you want to hear.

They didn't watch rebels bro.

Except it literally is time travel. It may be more than that(although I’m skeptical that Filoni’s even telling the truth about that) but to say it’s not time travel is just a flat-out lie.

The force has always been transcendent of time, I don’t know why people are up in arms about it now.

If you enter at one time and exit at another… it’s 100% time travel. It’s not conventional time travel.. but the world between worlds is its own thing existing between time and space.

It “probably” can be used for very limited, and specific, time travel. But Ahsoka didn’t introduce anything new here. Ezra grabbing Ahsoka to save her is time travel in any fantasy story. (I think that’s what Anakin did too). But it’s so restrictive I don’t think it’s an issue.

Ezra went through a literal doorway and yanked a literal Ahsoka out of a literal past from a literal future. It matters exactly 0 “what” the WBW is. What it DOES is allow Time Travel. The DeLorean may be a car, but it’s capable of Time Travel.

It is a sort of time travel that can change or retcon certain events. It's time travel with extra hoops if you want to do it. Stop saying it isn't. Even Filoni says in interviews that if characters would go to these points in time it would mess up the current timeline. So in essence and in technicality it is time travel.

Filoni is garbage.

Thank you!! IT. IS. NOT. ABOUT. TIME TRAVEL! It’s not about timelines and multiversal travel. If you watch Rebels then you’ll know that’s literally the lesson Ezra has to learn. World between worlds teaches balance and acceptance of what is and what isn’t.

So it connects all points in time. And you can travel between them. I *think* there's a term for that... Time-something... Something-travel...

It is everything and nothing . Everyone and no one at all .it is the light and the dark . It is the past , present and future .it is the force . That’s how I described it

It is a really good reminder.

It is 100% time travel

you’re right it’s even dumber

He pulled Ahsoka through time so yes it is

It is nooot time travel

“In that place everything is occurring all the time” in other words time travel. Don’t care if it’s “not about” time travel, it IS time travel.

@Gonaleks

So the time altering dimension where "everything is occurring at all times" and is able to be changed at differing points of time in relation to the locus of such events isn't time travel? Noted.

Interdimensional travel is time travel!!!! Y’all need to read more and stop blindly believing a man in a cowboy hat who’s writing fiction. He said it’s not about time travel but it still is time travel anyway you slice it.

It’s not “about” time travel; but one ~could~ (like Ahsoka did herself)

Except it kinda is…?

Bro just described time travel with extra steps

@JonDavis73

It is though

The Coordinate

True it's worse.

Thanks! As someone who hasn’t finished Rebels (yet), this answered my questions!

Writers should be punished for writing stuff I don't like 😡 /s

Can people of different times interact with consequences? If yes, it is time travel.

“It’s not about time travel” then immediately uses time travel to save Ahsoka simply because he isn’t willing to kill off his prized character 💀

omg literally what's the difference, once you come out of the WBW, you have traveled to another time

It should have just stayed as windows into other times then. Ezra reaching into an event in the past to interfere in it means that time travel is possible. There could be a bootstrap argument, but that doesn’t intrinsically preclude time travel
