That win in ‘88 was just superb, and Sandy has always seemed to be the most patient and polite of golfers, so I hope he still has a future in golf even if it’s not playing competitively as he can still give so much to the game

A class act. I saw him at the Golf Graduation in St Andrews last summer during Open Week. A well deserved retirement.
