💥Ukrainian Armed Forces Report Destruction of Russian Iskander Missile System According to a statement from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a Russian Iskander missile launcher was destroyed in a coordinated strike involving Ukraine’s military, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and other defense units. The strike targeted a concentration of Russian missile troops operating near the town of Klintsy in Russia’s Bryansk region. The 26th Russian Missile Brigade was reportedly preparing to launch an attack, possibly on Kyiv. Ukrainian forces, acting on intelligence, successfully struck the area. One Iskander launcher was destroyed in the explosion, while two others were likely damaged.

Large fires were seen burning afterwards. The main targets for the drones were the CHP-4, CHP-5, and CHP-6 power plants. Iskanders impacted both CHP-5 and CHP-6.

The launchers were found by reservists of the Carmeli Brigade, who were deployed to the Israeli side of the Yellow Line for defensive and mop-up operations. The IDF says the launchers contained rockets that were intended to be launched at Israel.
