As a matter of fact, the Israeli war in Lebanon in 1982 led to the organisation and militarization of Hezbollah. Israel needed such an enemy in Lebanon just as they need Hamas in Palestine. Don’t be fooled it was never about Hezbollah or Hamas. It about stealing the land.
