What's different just the timing, right? If UGA fans littered the field in that moment and then they make the reversal it's the same, correct? Timing is the only difference, and if the officials had to delay their discussion because of the trash on the field, it's adjudicated correctly.

@xAKxRoyal_Flush I'm talking to the crowd that said they had never seen it picked up before. It's not like there was a play run, but then they reversed it. Why does the timing matter so much to everyone? Perhaps the ref replayed it in his head and said, "Guys, I got it wrong."

This is different. It was called on the field, ball was moved and everything. I’ve seen flags waved off but never what happened tonight.

Nah, I just saw a bunch of people complaining that they'd never seen a PI call reversed. This one came to mind because it was a big moment in the first half.

not even close. as big of a Clemson fan i am an overturned call is nothing compared to what happened. called the pi (which it was not) but fans bullied the refs into reversing it. causes a whole precedent.
