Another fantastic scene Knuckles letting the fact even after all his adventures with his friends he does feel alone due to being the last of his kind only for Sonic to reinforce that he is never alone because of them Now I see people not understand the scene and see it as not making sense since Knuckles has already been off his island several in past games. But here's the thing. Why is Knuckles off the island? Most of the time it is to help his friends but not for himself and at the end of the day he still does have to go back home.
