That’s 17,900 American students who have been replaced. That number has increased every year. Arizona State University is the number one college for international students. A pro Idf event “From Combat to Campus: Soldiers’ Tour,” was hosted by the SSI chapter at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). After TMU denied request for campus space for the third time, the event was relocated to a private business near campus. Approximately 30 minutes before the start time, members of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) stormed the private venue, breaking doors and physically attacking our guest speakers—Israeli reserve soldiers—leaving several injured and bleeding. What happened today in Toronto is a clear act of politically motivated violence. Jewish and Zionist students are under threat, and denying that reality endangers them further. Despite the attack, the tour will continue. FACTS: - Over half of the Department of Education’s budget is used to fund grants, work-study programs, and student loans for college students, mostly low income. - A huge portion funds programs that support students with disabilities, including special education services in public schools. States do not have the budgets for this and it will almost certainly lead to further disparities between rich and poor students' education. STUPID and/or Wealthy people are pushing this. Students at St. George’s school in Nairobi are on strike after one of their comrades was assaulted by a teacher for being outside viewing the eclipse. The students slept outside making noise, calling for justice. Police were overwhelmed by the students and could not contain the protest. Parents have arrived at the school in a bid to find a solution but what is clear is that the winds of change are blowing even in schools. The big question is if young girls like these can fight for their rights, what were adults doing at bogus Rhema Festivals pretending to act as if everything is alright?
