We condemn what the government has done and the statement given by the director general of the Communication Authority and we urge all media houses to ensure that any information they publish is verified, accurate and is safe for public consumption. I'm deeply concerned about the recent developments in Ghana, and I urge the Ghana Police Service (Ghana Police Service) to fulfill their duties impartially and ensure that the perpetrators of vandalism are held accountable. As a concerned citizen and member of the New Patriotic Party, I believe that destruction of property under the guise of protest is unacceptable and must be condemned. The Ghana Police Service has assured the public of their commitment to maintaining law and order during protests. I implore them to take swift action and bring the culprits to justice. The youth of the New Patriotic Party will not tolerate chaos on our streets, and we expect the police to uphold their mandate to protect citizens and property. The Ghana Police Service is constitutionally mandated to maintain law and order, and it's crucial they remain impartial and committed to serving the public interest. Where sworn evidence, drug charts, observation data, and imaging raise serious questions about excessive dosing of paralysing agents, failure to recognise classic signs of adrenaline-related pulmonary oedema, and delays or inconsistencies in clinical decision-making, the issue is no longer private or historical. Patients are entitled to expect that doctors administering powerful drugs such as adrenaline and rocuronium understand their effects, recognise deterioration when it occurs, and act promptly to correct it. Let me be honest with you for a second. After yesterday’s post on other social media platforms , a few people slid into my DMs asking why I take public transport. Why I’m on a trotro. Why I don’t drive. And I sat with that for a moment. Because here’s what people don’t see behind the camera journalism, real journalism, public interest journalism, is not glamorous. The fact that you see my face on a screen doesn’t make me a celebrity. It doesn’t make me wealthy. It makes me someone who showed up to do a job that matters. I take trotro. I stand at bus stops before the sun is up. I travel across this country for stories that need to be told. And I do it without a filter, without pretending my life looks different from what it is. This is my real life. And I’m not ashamed of a single part of it. Being on camera was never about status. It was always about the story

In times like these, how we feel often shapes how we act, and that’s why accurate information is so important. Unfortunately, there are individuals spreading deliberate misinformation, creating confusion and fear. My responsibility is to ensure Jamaicans have the correct information. If some choose not to listen, that is their choice, but the truth must always be available. Criticism is part of public life, and I have never shied away from it. What I will not accept is the spreading of falsehoods that undermine national efforts or discourage our people in a time of recovery. Managing information is a critical part of disaster response. If we allow negativity and misinformation to drown out the facts and the hard work of those restoring our country, we risk weakening national morale when unity is most needed. I urge all Jamaicans of goodwill to stay positive, stay informed, and stand against those who seek attention through negativity.

Our country's problems cannot be fixed in one election cycle. Candidates aren't perfect, but that's what primaries are for. This is a long process that is winnable if we stay focused. It will take the better part of a decade plus of consistent participation and engagement to correct course. Resist the demoralization op, lock in, and let's get to work.
