For those curious about what these Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 models look like in-game, here's a video showing a quick script I wrote that allows me to toggle them on and off. The more I dig into this, the more I find this approach cool as hell

basically, Sigma 2 if it was better but retained the low enemy count and ported over to Unreal Engine?

Isn't this effectively the same thing that the Tomb Raider remastered collection does? (only that collection lets you toggle to the original character models as a feature.)

Huh, that's actually very interesting. I'd imagine it helps cut down on dev time with character models and movesets so they can put focus more on the gameplay and visually upgraded environments. Pretty clever, ngl.

I hope bone transforms are calculated once per frame, with "ABP_CopyBoneFromSigma2" executing after.

But I wonder, Ninja Gaiden 2 and Sigma are made in ancient version of Unreal engine or not at all ?

What do you mean ancient? It's made on a version of Unreal Engine that came out last year

I think @KoeiTecmoUS @TeamNINJAStudio @platinumgames could remake/remaster Ninja Gaiden Black easily using this tech, so we can play on PC!
