Victor Osimhen is trending because the short-fused Super Eagles striker was substituted, after exploding on teammate Ademola Lookman, over a pass. I agree with many of the things Sunday Oliseh said: from the social media mob enabling Victor Osimhen into what he has become, to Nigeria’s contented lack of ambition in exaggerating third place prize. But I disagree, completely, on the Lookman case. Oliseh seems to have forgotten that we played Algeria first after that incident and Lookman had a “good” game before Chelle met his expected albatross in Morocco. Akor Adams was probably our worst player vs Morocco, was he also affected by the Osimhen matter? Whereas Bruno Onyemaechi who was at the centre of the Osimhen matter went on to have brilliant outings in the following games.

He was intent on redeeming his father, but he was also ready to accept Vader's refusal and his own death. He had no attachment to Vader, only compassion for him. The only attachment Luke showed was to Leia, when Vader threatened her, and that was the moment that he nearly gave into fear and anger. But he was able to pull back and refuse to play Palpatine's games, accepting death as a Jedi should. It seems people just misunderstand "attachment" in this context, or what Luke really meant when he said things like "then my father is truly dead," or "soon I'll be dead, and you with me."

Just now, a veteran Chinese forum member, Youlong, tweeted that his #PiNetwork account had been banned. I told him it was impossible for it to be banned, and I was even going to go back and try logging in for him using my other phone. Then he called me on WeChat, saying that it turned out the phone number was wrong from the start because someone had threatened him a few days ago, saying they could ban his account. It was a complete misunderstanding! 😂

I thought this was a very powerful message from @NIUCoachHammock. (For context, this was his response when asked how he feels seeing old NIU players performing at Power 4 schools.) I know he stopped himself from saying that if NIU had the financial resources these Power 4 schools have, it would be a better program. Unfourntly, this is true.
