Our team was on its way to Dhamtari in Chhattisgarh to help Kishor Rao get Justice and to demand an FIR against SHO Chandrakant Sahu and action against City Superintendent of Police Abhishek Chaturvedi of Dhamtari. But, Kishor is not willing to fight against the Police so we have to return midway now. The main reason behind the same is the pressure from his land lord because Police is threatening to lodge an FIR against Land Lord for giving him room on rent without completing the formality of Police verification. We can understand that fighting against the system is not that easy for a common citizen in our country. Meanwhile SP, Suraj Singh Parihar tried to do the damage control and constituted a three member committee of DSP Rank Officers who will do the formality of a so called inquiry without taking any action. In short, Khaki goons once again managed to get away with the crime.

This happens only in India. Meet Kailash Paswan of village Harinagar in Darbhanga district of Bihar whose father Asarfi Paswan lodged an FIR under SC/ST Act and Molestation charges against 220 Brahmins of the village. He named 70 villagers and added 150 unknown suspects. Irony is that many names added by him in the FIR are not even residing in the village and are settled in Delhi and Mumbai since years. Police arrested 12 Brahmins till now and are searching for others. All Brahmin families of the village left their houses in fear of getting arrested. The dispute started after Kailash Paswan went to fight with one of the villager named Hemkant Jha claiming that an amount of Rs. 2.5 lakhs is due on him since 2015. Kailash claimed that he took contract of the construction of the house of Hemkant Jha and he is yet to clear his dues. A fight started and later both lodged complaints against each other. Police did not take any cognizance on the complaint of Hemkant Jha but lodged an FIR under SC/ST Act against 220 people on the complaint of Asarfi Paswan.

A woman tied her husband to a cot, held him captive overnight, brutally assaulted him and gave him electric shocks following a domestic dispute in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district, police said. According to police, the incident came to light on Monday morning after they received information that an injured man was lying at the scene. Police immediately reached the spot and shifted the injured man, Sanjeev Tiwari, to the district hospital. Doctors referred him to Kanpur after providing primary treatment, citing his critical condition. While undergoing treatment, Sanjeev Tiwari told police that his wife tied him to a cot on Sunday night, held him captive and assaulted him. He also said that she gave him electric shocks using electrical wires. After Sanjeev Tiwari's condition improved, his brother submitted a written complaint against the accused woman at the police station. Based on the complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections of the law and took the accused wife into custody for questioning. Fatehpur Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik said police received information on Monday morning about an injured. He said that Tiwafri informed police that his wife had tied him up, held him captive and assaulted him during the previous night. The survivor also claimed that she touched him with electric wires to administer electric shocks. The SP said police first ensured that the injured man received medical treatment before recording his statement. After his condition stabilised, his brother filed a complaint against the survivor's wife, following which police registered a case and detained her. According to SP Manglik, the couple frequently argued over alcohol, and the dispute escalated on Sunday night. He said the woman tied her husband to a cot, assaulted him and gave him electric shocks with electrical wires. During the assault, the Tiwari suffered a serious head injury. Doctors at the district hospital referred him to Kanpur after his condition turned critical, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
