For those who are unaware:Tic disorders affect everyone differently. Not everyone with a tic disorder will tic 24/7; it can vary from person to person. Some tics can be funny, while others might be inappropriate, especially in certain moments. Many can also be painful or even dangerous. I also...

why #dingyuxi turned down new year’s eve events 🔔 “for you to be able to do many, many things that you would have done before you ever met me” ——————————————— thank you all for waiting, today is the last day of 2025. so today, i was thinking that starting from 7, when everyone gets off work, i would stay with everyone all the way until after 12. my original intention was that i especially hoped everyone would feel no pressure. because i think that before, every time we reached some crucial moments, at these key points, everyone would rush here and there for me. i feel that this past year has been extremely hard on everyone and also very touching. so later i started to think, is there a possibility that for this new year’s eve, i hope everyone doesn’t have to rush to another city, doesn’t have to be out in the cold wind. i also hope everyone can be together with their friends, then be able to have new year’s eve dinner together, be able to countdown 54321 with your families, be able to do many, many things that you would have done before you ever met me. so i suggested an idea to everyone saying, this year, i might not participate in the new year’s eve events. i thought about how my staff has been with me throughout the whole year, at every important event. they put aside their own friends, their own families, including last year’s new year’s eve in haikou, and spring festival gala in beijing. so i thought this time, you could say, it’s about returning the most important moments to each and everyone. but later on i thought — what if at this important moment, i still want to meet with everyone, but i also don’t want everyone to take up too much time travelling, what can i do? later i thought, can i try doing something i’ve never done before? so starting from when everyone — because today, it seems to me that today is either wednesday or tuesday, anyway it’s a workday, then starting from when everyone gets off work, just like with your friends, you would arrange for new year’s eve dinner after work, chat together, watch shows together, all the way until the arrival of the first day of 2026. this is the original intention of me doing this, i am very willing to do it, and i also really enjoy it. so there’s absolutely no need for anyone to feel sorry for me. i am still very happy to be here and see you.

#JANHAE #JANIVERSE 💬: does p’ get annoyed with someone who overthinks? 🦊: p’ myself overthinks! i’m one of them. i think a lot! i overthink so so much! i wouldn’t be annoyed. i understand. but the person who gets annoyed is myself, you get it? like “can you stop thinking already? can you stop please? oh god!” other people might not… the people around me are great. honestly, sometimes they probably get annoyed with me for overthinking too, but they don’t really get annoyed. but the person who gets annoyed is me myself. i get annoyed with myself, “i don’t want to be someone like this!! i don’t want to overthink. why do i keep thinking?” there has to be some way of handling it yourself, like being firm with yourself or having more confidence in yourself 🦊: when i was a kid, i would overthink and be scared that people would not like me, like a kid in primary or secondary school. i was scared there might be people who didn’t like me, because when i was kid, i was kind of good-looking~~ so i had some roles [in school]. many people knew me at school. they often said i was arrogant, or wouldn’t respond when they said hi to me. one, i’m someone who would space out. i didn’t really pay attention. sometimes, i might walk and not pay attention to anything. i would just walk. two, if i was with my friends, i would only focus on my friends. i wouldn’t pay attention to other people. whoever said hi, i wouldn’t really know. so, i was scared then. i didn’t want to go to school. my peers didn't seem to like me. i didn’t say hi when i saw someone. i would overthink, you know 🦊: but i realized, “what did i do wrong?” what i did… you know? i didn’t do anything. when i didn’t say hi or smile back, sometimes it’s just that i didn’t see or hear. so when someone said something like this, i was like, “ok, i’ll pay more attention. but don’t blame myself, thinking, ‘is it my fault or not?’ ‘am i a bad person?’ ‘am i an arrogant person?’ ‘oh my peers criticized me for being arrogant. i’m scared that they don’t like me.’” i was like this when i was a kid. those were just minor things that happened 🦊: but after i got older, i just let it go. i just try to know myself the best i can. i’m someone who doesn’t want to be a bad person already. like i don’t want to be a bad person in other people’s lives either. so i try to be the best person i can be. i really am a good person 5555 i try to be myself as long as other people aren’t troubled, “are other people are troubled or not? does it affect other people? if it doesn’t affect anyone, just do it! there’s no need to be afraid! but i have to think properly”

As I was watching the video of Sadhguru reaching Nepal today, and something stayed with me. The calamity happened on 26 August, and he reached Nepal on 30 August. That means he, too, remained there for these four days, along with many others who were stranded in the region. What I found very humbling was learning that he had the option of leaving earlier, but chose to wait. From what I understood, he was waiting for permission to go on the ground and see if he could contribute to the relief efforts or help in whatever way possible, including in finding those who were missing. At the same time, there were hundreds of other people stranded there. Simply flying out himself would have solved the problem for one person, but it wouldn't have created a way out for everyone else. Apparently, the effort was also towards getting a land route opened so that the people who were stranded could leave through the same route. And when I saw him finally reach Nepal today, I found myself thinking about this differently. In a disaster, none of us can control the circumstances. Sometimes we can't even do what we want because permissions, roads, weather, geography and many other things are beyond us. But perhaps what we can control is what we choose to do within those limitations. One person can find a way out for themselves. Or they can wait, when possible, for a way that others can also use. That distinction made me pause. I'm not looking at this as some extraordinary heroic act. I'm simply observing what I saw and heard, and thinking about what it means to lead from the front. Sometimes leadership may not be about being the first one to get out. Sometimes it may be about trying to create a path through which others can get out too. That thought stayed with me today.
