There are some who seem to believe that celebrating (or expressing approval for) the death of someone who was doing commentary is morally equivalent to celebrating the death of someone who was doing war crimes. There is no equivalency, however. The problem here isn’t a lack of empathy. It’s a lack of critical reasoning.
