It’s a private third-party vendor called the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). It’s long been an overreach of control from a small group of narrow-minded ego-driven adults literally dictating what student athletes and families can do in their free time. But much-needed and welcome change is getting closer for all student athletes and their families, as more and more student athletes and parents come forward from present and past to speak up and talk about the disadvantages the IHSA - and those who benefit from it - have and are causing. The first victory earlier this week was by slaughter rule, a 12-0 thumping over the IHSA in committee vote. Now it moves to the big leagues. Udine: Foreign minor with covered face robs a supermarket while holding a gun Terni: Two Tunisians arrested for assaulting a man and steal his money and bike Viareggio: Violent robberies, three North Africans arrested A 50 year old Albanian man defending an elderly man mocked by North Africans, was hit with a stone and left in a coma. …….I won’t get into the politics of this. Luke Altmyer is one of the MOST DISRESPECTED QBs in the Big Ten heading into 2025. After a great 2024 season, this Illinois senior is getting ZERO love from analysts and so-called experts. In 2024, Altmyer was a straight-up game-changer for the Illini, leading them to a 10-3 record (tying the program’s single-season wins record) and three Top-25 victories. He had 2,717 passing yards, 22 TDs, just 6 INTs, plus 217 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs, and he led the nation with FIVE game-winning drives in the final minute or overtime, including clutch TD passes at Nebraska, vs. Purdue, and at Rutgers. He was the only QB in the nation with three game-winning TD passes in the final 2 minutes/OT. He was the only QB in the nation with four TD passes in a Top-25 road win. He was 36th nationally in passing efficiency (144.90) last year, which is within 5 points of Cade Klubnik, Kyle McCord, Quinn Ewers, Jalen Milroe, and Nico Iamaleava—also tied with Fernando Mendoza. He is the first Illini QB since 2013 with 20+ TD passes in a season. All-Big Ten Honorable Mention and a Davey O’Brien Award Class of 2024 member. Again, this is for those who claim the dangerous rhetoric comes only from one side: Trump's Veterans Day speech in November 2023: "In honor of our great veterans on Veterans Day, we pledge to you that we will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists, and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country—those who lie, steal, and cheat on elections. The threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous, and grave than the threat from within." Because I watch and record virtually all campaign speeches and clip many of them, I can say that most rallies are difficult to watch. Both sides consistently paint the other as dangerous and even deadly. I have countless clips featuring dangerous rhetoric from all sides. In Trump’s case, statements like the one here are a regular feature at his rallies, though many people don’t watch them, so they may not be aware of this. The reality is that both sides spread dangerous rhetoric and hate. The players aren't even moving in sync. Thought this was about discipline and doing things uniform? Let's ignore ^ this ^ and the fact that football players are not military operators - and lets focus in on the fact that this SEAL hell week style of training is NOT how they train once they have been selected. It is used to weed out those who do not want to actually be there. Now maybe that is what is happening with this - but doing so in June before camp in August - doubtful. Going through one difficult training session will not make the players stand on the goal line - put their hands in the huddle - and then say "hey fellas - remember when we did that seal training in June - we got this - lets go score a TD" Now, I have been wrong before and will be wrong again - but this seems like a massive waste of time and funds - especially when support staff can train the players hard AND are underpaid. How does admin allow things like this? S&C coaches ALWAYS have to be aware of the transition periods - did this seal training happen right after May break? If so - seems like a TON of volume after a short amount of time..... Going through one event is not as hard as going through an entire off-season or year and doing ALL the little things right. Anyone can suck it up and get one training session done. Who can show up for the long haul. Focus on things like quality training: Sprint Jump Throw Push Pull Hinge Carry Crawl Not this. Athletes deserve better.

Final Stage of Q-school rounds are already long enough…. A few things to get ahead of the comments. 1. Yes this is a mental block, OCD, whatever you want to call it and I sympathize with that. However Theo has played pro golf for years and it's always been the same, so the sympathy from other players is gone. 2. They have to penalize him. From what I've heard he wasn't penalized last year for slow play. That's not possible. This video is actually pretty quick for him. The more pressure, the longer it goes. In Chicago a few years back, he was playing with Mark, I was caddying and it was raining. And he was over the ball for 3 mins once. 3. Again, Theo is a nice guy, this isn't a shot at him personally. But this is unfair to his playing partners, and after years of this going on it has be handled.

This dude thinks he is a tough guy as he assaults an officer right in front of his parents in their home. Meet Anish Lakhe, a resident on the 8900 block of Brandon Road. In Darien Illinois. Darien Police Department officers responded to a domestic-related emergency call at the Brandon Road home. Upon their arrival, Lakhe was actively resisting efforts the officers were making to manage the situation. The encounter quickly turned physical. Lakhe assaulted one of the responding officers , causing physical injury to the Darien police officer before he could be successfully restrained and placed in handcuffs. Lakhe was subsequently transported to the DuPage County Jail and faced severe felony charges, including: Two Counts of Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer (Class 2 Felonies) Resisting a Peace Officer Causing Injury (Class 4 Felony) Domestic Battery (Class A Misdemeanor) Lakhe's legal troubles have not ended there and have further escalated.
