XBOX is pretty cool 🙂

I think it’s worth calling out you can put a Series X Disc (that doesn’t play on an Xbox One) into a Xbox One to receive a digital license code.

When it be opened to the public

October I reckon

You don't have to fully install the game to claim the license.

aye but itll automatically claim when you launch the game.

I know, I'm just saying you don't have to wait to install to claim the licence. If you turn off auto play in the settings, just pop the disc in and on the dashboard hover over the game - press the menu button and it should come up claim digital licence without having to install.

I wrote that in the tweet good sir

You think they would bring this to PC and let me get a license through blu-ray player if its my windows account or is this just going to xboxes only. If Helix got that disc drive I hope it does it too.

So if I am not using Xbox Play Anywhere because I have only Xbox Series X, this program makes no sense for me?

Thanks for the information 🫡

If I use my Rare Replay disc, will I get a download for Goldeneye?

Xbox hardware is dead

So we wouldn’t need to hold the disc in order to verify we still have it so hold onto that digital licence?

Hey Jez, any word on when this will go live for all users?

my guess is october

Thx

ask your Microsoft sources about how incredibly simple it would be to port over an Xbox digital game compatibility layer to Windows on a 16gb ram PC having an RTX 3060 or better Easiest thing they could do to make Xbox exclusive titles viable now that console marketshare is tiny

How do you get into this? I’m an omega insider but I can’t digitize any of my discs?

my question is: its obvious that xbox one games purchased at or near launch of the system do no work with the conversion but are there later pressing of the same games that do??
