i got you - prediction markets need a dedicated trading terminal + analytics dashboard to attract more volume and provide greater clarity to traders on their performance. traders need data visualizations which are geared towards tracking prediction oriented metrics like calibration curve + brier score. after spending months talking to prediction market traders on twitter - i built out this prototype (mock data for now since Kalshi doesn't offer auth in their API). over the last few months i've become prediction market pilled - believing in a future where experts in topics can profit from their knowledge and a world where most people can make better decisions for their future based off of prediction market odds. a world where someone can see the odds of a jerome powell interest rate cut and decide whether or not to buy a house. a world where someone can directly see the odds of an election and have better data on whether they should move somewhere accordingly. (i want to work in prediction markets btw)

So, we need to make it super clear who is the landing page for. The "problem" is that there are multiple audiences, and we can't niche down the main landing page yet. It means the main landing will be more generalist to appeal to more people, but will be slightly less impactful as a result. The solution for this is to create multiple landing pages for specific audiences with super precise headlines For our general landing page, we want: - What is it - Who is this for - Make it clear what the main benefits are What is it -> Analytics app Who is this for -> Online businesses Main benefit -> Simple to use/setup (no code), accurate revenue tracking, it's modern, unlike what they use at the moment (Google Analytics) Headline: - "Modern analytics for online businesses" (if we position against Google Analytics and other bloated apps) - "Easy analytics for online businesses" 👉 You might want to A/B test them eventually Now, it would be even BETTER if we had data on WHY they want to track revenues (ex: Measure ROI, find opportunities, etc), but for now, we can stay generic and then test different ones later As for the audience-specific landing pages, you can mention the name of the audience directly to make it relevant to them: - The analytics platform for marketplaces - The analytics platform for course creators - etc... Quit my Job at Microsoft, and back to the Classroom as a Student - My Short Story. Till today, some say quitting my job at Microsoft doesn't make logical sense. To be serious, it doesn't make any logical sense especially when I have to return to the classroom and back to the job market. This was however necessary for me to pursue a new path for my family. When I was at Microsoft, on several occasions, I felt Microsoft was God's sent to Africa and I am the Evangelist. Explain to me why a company is investing so much in capacity development in Africa like Microsoft. Through relevant skills, we can bring many out of poverty, save them from the after-effects of unemployment, make them dream big and achieve it, and keep alive hopes in the hearts of millions of others with similar backgrounds like mine. So, I took my work with passion and purpose. I was allowed to support academic institutes in several countries and I appeared as a Guest Lecturer for Masters Courses on Advance Data Analytics. I relocated to the US and everything changed, back to the classroom but now as a Student. Indeed a humbling experience for me. I love every opportunity I have to make complex topics simple. Ok I went a little too hard on this Biologicals trial building. I’ve always been a big fan of biologicals, completely underutilized imo, likely because it has a bad reputation often marketed by companies as the cure for plant AIDS. I have a Biostimulant, lignin-derived, that sounds like a real dinger if it can do what it is supposed to do, so I have negotiated a good price per acre that ensures the manufacturer isn’t chasing the “hit it and quit it” mentality retailers in agriculture seem to have towards farmers. I am tracking everyone in the trial and open sourcing all the data in real time. No compilation afterwards to stroke the data, all raw and interpreted in real time. Ok I went a little too hard on this Biologicals trial building. I’ve always been a big fan of biologicals, completely underutilized imo, likely because it has a bad reputation often marketed by companies as the cure for plant AIDS. I have a Biostimulant, lignin-derived, that sounds like a real dinger if it can do what it is supposed to do, so I have negotiated a good price per acre that ensures the manufacturer isn’t chasing the “hit it and quit it” mentality retailers in agriculture seem to have towards farmers. I am tracking everyone in the trial and open sourcing all the data in real time. No compilation afterwards to stroke the data, all raw and interpreted in real time.
